With youth unemployment touching 60% at its peak and a GDP Growth rate of -10% at its worst, I explain in detail why it happened, how the country's market and economy was revived. Today, Greece still is the worst country in Europe with regards to unemployment, joblessness and economy in general. What the government did in response and what can we learn from it?

Because they tax their people heavily, there is NO income inequality between people whereas India and other places have huge income inequality disparities that make the rich become richer and the poorer become more poor. Scandinavians put their peoples need first and ensure that every citizen is guaranteed basic rights and needs, I hope one day Indian people elect competent politicians and then maybe someday my India can also become great

@Abel our GDP per capita was increasing unlike Greece who's GDP per capita decreased by 40%.

@Anmol Singh now our economy is doomed. GDP will contract by 24% in 2020. And our debt to GDP ratio will be around 88% and then comes the debt based pseudo stimulus which will increase it even more. Be ready for Austerity measures because no one will give us bailouts like Greece.

US has a debt to GDP ratio of 125%. Japan has a ratio of over 150%. Nowadays almost every country has a very high debt to GDP ratio. India's debt is fairly less compared to other countries

It's the first time I noticed and got impressed by the background score of a Dhruv Rathee video during scene transitions.

Sadly, the video contains quite a few mistakes. The one that caught my attention is the scene with the so called "Olympic Stadium". The building you filmed is the former Athens International Airport, which was abandoned almost 20 years ago. The whole area is going to be turned into a massive park with a casino and hotels. Construction has already started. As for the real Olympic stadium, it's still used as a Venue for football matches and concerts.

As for the real Olympic stadium, it was built long before Greece decided to run for hosting the Games. The stadium was just renovated for this purpose. You can google OAKA stadium for more details. As for the rest of the infrastructure, yes, there are quiet a few sports complexes that aren't being utilized but as time goes by, some of them are being redesigned and used for a different purpose. On the bottom line, yes, everyone knew that Greeks would not play baseball etc.. The problem was that the ones in charge could not find a viable solution for every one of those venues (the baseball complex was redesigned and used as a football stadium but the teams that used it were either relegated or ran into financial trouble, meaning that they couldn't afford the rent of the arena).

Majority of developed countries are not agricultural based . I know India has 2nd most arable land , but it can generate revenue only upto a point and can consume only a fraction of work force . India can never become a superpower and developed country if it relies on agricultural sectar . It was also mentioned in 10th ncert economic book . Go through it if you get a chance.

Dhruv, it's a great content at this crisis situation. I worked in a company where we lost our jobs due to economic crisis in Greece. Yes, you are absolutely right Present Indian economy is in slow down. Our main strength is our population we have skilled population unlike Greece and we are a self sufficient country however we are not utilizing our efficiency from last few years and depending on imports that's our curse. We should start thinking and Governments should start acting proactively rather immediately on this ground. We should stop discriminations and disparities and start focusing on economical development other wise we will be facing recession very soon. If we reach in that level it will be very difficult to over come
