I won't mention the location, but I have been there. I spent a rainy night there in 2005. It was over priced, very dated( the TV was straight out of 1985), and there was broken glass on the bathroom floor. But at the same time it was warm, dry, and had a certain retro/nostalgic charm( like a time capsule from the 70s/80s) that makes me glad I stayed there. All the other people staying appeared to be long term residents who had made questionable life choices. The lady who owned it was very nice though and it really is a great location. It is a relic in a sadly depressed area. Really glad to see you explore this place. By coincidence I'll be heading up tomorrow to stay right near there for a couple weeks. Stay safe Buddy! Edit after watching more than 30 seconds of the video: I had a nice chat with the lady who owned the joint when I stayed there. She told me the big space on the left used to be a full service restaurant back in the day with innkeepers quarters upstairs and that she wanted to turn the place into a geothermal powered spa involving yurts, but she was struggling to makes ends meet. I guess the spa didn't pan out. It is a great piece of history and should be restored. Unfortunately it will probably be razed and condos put on the property. I'm glad to see it has held up so well, maybe being in the middle of the town that time forgot has been a good thing.

I will never understand why people want to destroy and vandalize an abandoned building instead of just enjoying it. Love your videos 👏👏

What was once most likely a prime motel has some beauty left. I see potential to be transformed back to a motel or apartments. I'm shocked most of the windows still intact. "If you know the location don't post in comments" that is what I like about your video you have respect a lot of other so called urban exploration channels can learn form you. One local so called youtuber broke in to a local house few months after owner died told the world the location, others followed showing location, then came the vandals smashing up more and spray painting every room, thefts and finally the arsonists. Property no more. You are so respectful thanks. Nothing wrong with what you do the way you do it. Its left for others in the future. Thank you for showing these places in a very respectful way.

Those TVs are becoming valuable for restoration of 1980s arcade video games. It's getting harder and harder to find CRTs and some of them are now worth $$$$$ if they don't have burned phosphor.

Being born in '71, nothing here seems that "old". I stayed at plenty of places that looked just like this. I think the "out" building was likely cheap apartments for staff and the property manager. Loved the video!

Reminds me of another motel I somewhat explored in Vermont on a mountain, I noticed it because of a caved in trailer that was covered in snow, and it was kinda weird to think, "People lived here"

My parents and I used to stay in motels like that years ago when I was growing up, but most have been either torn down or used for low cost housing.

The atmosphere, the view, it's just... i don't know how to describe it, i just love countryside atmosphere, even better if there's rain... I need to go out now...

Cool tour, thanks. A reclamation company should be invited in to save stuff - especially those sinks. Wonder who owns the place - probably some bank or finance house. If it was a property company, things would be different.

If you are able to find pictures of the abandoned places when they were still operational would be cool so you could see what it looked at before. Might be a pain if the pictures are protected or copyrighted though. Awesome!

There is so much value there in furniture, bathroom parts, fixtures etc etc. It's sad to see that it will likely be left a number of years then just bulldozed and all those things will be lost.
