Great video but the background music is really loud and it was a little difficult to hear him speak.

@jajacobs2 I have an Osia for my left ear. I was actually listening to this video through my Osia but it was still loud and sounded like mumbling. I got my Osia implant in October of 2020. Either way , it changed my life and it is the best. But the background music was still far too loud.

I agree. I struggled to understand the speaker with his accent and the music increased this difficulty. I have a a Baha 5 and I was just approved to upgrade to Baha 6. What are the factors in deciding between Osia and Baha 6.

Thank you for reaching out. That is a great question. One of the factors that might influence someone's decision, is based on the hearing implant he or she has. The Osia System sound processors are not compatible with the Baha System and vice versa, It is possible for a Baha recipient to receive an Osia System, however, it would require another surgery to place the Osia System’s specific implant. Please, consult with your physician to discuss your specific needs and scope of what would be required for your own Osia System surgery.

Had mine done this past October 2021. While I can hear much better. It stands out very significantly on the side of my head. I used to shave my head or keep it real short because of male pattern baldness. I can't pull that off anymore. Now I have to grow out my hair so I don't look like a total freak, and find some kind of hair solution. This is gonna make dating that much more difficult. Also the batteries die within 48 hours which is very annoying. It should have been made rechargeable. I'm still getting used to the magnet. My skin is very thin on one side due to mastoidectomy when I was a kid (Got both done at the same time) I had tried some kind of band years ago to simulate what it would be like after the surgery. Honestly I think I would have preferred to wear that instead of having surgery.

You can try hair club for men if you need hair to feel normal. In my opinion, the woman will love you for you, not the device you are wearing. There are pros and cons to everything. My seventeen-year-old son is wearing the Osia system, and I would rather be thankful than nitpick the issues with a device they didn't have to take the time to build in the first place.

What a shame they played distracting music sounds in the background. Could hardly make out what the video was saying. This is for hard of hearing customers too.
