The scene of Don on the moving sidewalk just before he goes out of the airport to meetup with Megan in LA, is the same scene in the opening credits of Quentin Tarantino's film Jackie Brown.

The original IBM Selectric I was released in 1961, but these are clearly the Selectric II which wasn't released till 1971. I remember learning to type in 1977 on the Selectric II and later I would work repairing Sharp and Royal brand typewriters.
