You're overdoing it with Pine Gap as a nuclear target. The strategic importance of PG isn't that high, there are quite a few similar US intel stations around the globe. 1, 2 MOABs or a couple of cruise missiles would be sufficient to do the job. There's no need to also erase Alice Springs.

HI, research the Atomic Bomb testing at Maralinga. Indigenous families had burning ashes falling on their communities. A family were found burnt to death in a crater. They went there for warmth.
