The FPX play even though it was risky and TES didn't handle it well, it still shows how good the communication is between FPX players they managed this risky play very well . Shout out to them

For me, one of the best fourth wall leans is in The Sopranos. Where Chris gets really into theater and script-writing. Which then leads to him having a crisis about his own situation in life because he realizes that the main character in fiction always has some sort of arc and development. Which leads to a conversation between him and Paulie where they basically just openly talk about Chris' character arc within the show and where he currently stands within the story. It was so supremely well done and flowed so naturally that only halfway into the conversation I realized what they were even doing. Normally I hate that sort of cheeky self-awareness because it comes off as pretentious. But this was so buttery smooth that I was blown away.

Thing is, Xiaohu was bestowed the title "King of Spring" because he historically peaks in Spring and just fizzles out to the end of the year and rises in Spring again. So, to have this title, you have to not perform well for the rest of the year. That last element is what created the "King of Spring" title (this is exemplified by him winning MSI 3 times). That kind of disqualifies Faker and T1 from "King/s of Spring" discussion because, while they're super good in Spring and mellows out a bit mid-year, they also spike so hard by the end of the year that they're always in the running for World Champions contenders. Until Xiaohu repeatedly does the same, he'll still remain as the undisputed "King of Spring" for the meantime. Addendum: The two times Faker won MSI (2016-2017), he also won Worlds that same year and the year before (2016 and 2015).

It's not that deep. Faker was good last spring and had to take a performance hit due to injury. Now he's good again, so it's funny to call him new King of Spring.

@ean310 he took a dive in summer because of injury, true, but he was also arguably the best midlaner in worlds last year, so he didn't just "became good again" this spring because he was already good at worlds. that's what i meant when i said he/his team spike hard at the end of the year.

Despite the fact that he hard carried some fights of last worlds to become the champion again. Despite the fact that he and his team has consistently performed very well in domestic and international leagues over the last few years. No, because at this moment he is maybe not the most mechanically gifted player, Faker can't be good even if he looked good 3 months ago let alone yesterday. Why? Because I hate Faker and my hate boner is raging.

For now its more accurate to say king of Spring round 1, previous king of spring won most of his recent memory of spring playoffs and MSIs. Faker is goat without new titles though.

About the DDoS and Lan. Another possible reason is that you are streaming the game live. So a computer needs to have access to the game and the internet at the same time Ps thorin talking about servers is definitely something...

There are so many esports that have existed planning on LAN that have streamed the event live. From my understanding they are attacking the server itself. Not the live stream. If you have a closed network you wouldn't be able to attack the server unless you're onsite.

hmm my reply got removed because of link, just google faker CSAT score. he got level 5 on literature and Level 3 on english. i’m not korean so I don’t know how good that is but apparently it very good for someone who don’t go to school for 11 years

@@PeoplePleaser578 This is not clear at all. What does intelligence even mean, to begin with? There is a very clear correlation between scores in test that are meant to measure intelligence and one's level of education, that much is certain. Modern tests try to correct for this factor, but it is also not clear at all whether this is something that should be done? At the end of the day, I think iq tests are a joke, and should not be taken seriously, but these questions are interesting regardless. Yeah, lol. That take was beyond stupid. Faker is only playing a few champs because those picks are the best in the meta. Also, mid lane match ups are mostly handshaked in draft. Every game is almost always Azir vs Ori. Why even pick something inferior when the better pick is open?

Well, at least, last year after his injury was the only time I can think of where saying he had a limited champ pool was correct. He needed to play champs that were easier on his wrists.

He actively did not look as good on other picks (Hell look at finals), teams were actively handshaking the strongest picks in midlane without trying to even exploit the fact that Faker MIGHT be playing injured and therefore have a limited champion pool FOR THAT MOMENT IN TIME. You guys are so disingenuous its not even funny. That narrative came around around because Faker was injured, which is a reasonable take at the time given throughout Summer he was only finding consistent success on Neeko, Azir and Ori. It was reasonable AT THE TIME, they dropped it after that split because weirdly Faker started playing more champions...

Both of the top comment sound so stupid because if you know the whole context, you would know that ddos attack affects beyond pro scene, popular and small streamers in korea are literally struggling to stream because they are also affected by those ddos. It became worse to point that one streamer chose to relocate from another hotel and even go on the lengths of playing in chinese server just to avoid being ddosed. Mind you, this "attacks" started even before december.
