A company would never cancel a game that costs 10s of millions or more just because it leaked. They also wouldn’t cancel a game that looks amazing that everyone says would make them bank for no reason.

Spider-Man: The Great Web is astonishingly brilliant. As a video game that leaps from universe to universe as a character related to Spider-Man, it sends down on a spiral of brilliance and teamwork as seen as in the CGI Spider-Verse movies. The Great Web is scrapped because the open-serviced games like The Suicide Squad Kills The Justice League are falling behind the expectations for players to roam with the case of pay walls. There's a great amount of quality of this game surrounded by this money-stealing quanity.

When I see a game in comic book universe it makes me miss Kevin Conroy so much. He was perfect in Arkham games. I got a voice acting background and have to say that his voice has been such an inspiration for me since the Batman the Animated Series. The vocal training was really tough, sometimes without noticeable results for months but actors like him are a great impulse to not give up. You almost saw me as Leon in those new RE games :)

I'm sorry, I know I'm going to get dunked on for this, but I am so sick and tired of the Spider-Verse. I just want self-contained Spider-Man stories focusing on Peter and maybe Miles if you really have to. I'm tired of the Spider-Verse and having a thousand Spider-People and whatnot. I get that we've already had decades of just Peter alone, but my point is that the Multiverse is just so overplayed nowadays that it's not even cool anymore. So honestly, and again, I know I'll get shit for this, but I don't care, I'm glad the game got cancelled. Give me Spider-Man 3, make Peter great again, close off his story with a happy ending, and that's it.

I get why they cancelled it Live Servicce games haven’t been that great recently and a lot of them if a failure can cause a studio shutdown at worse and massive layoffs at best. With the avengers and suicide squad not doing great it’s might be a blessing

Idk, the fact that it was multiplayer and had such a wide variety of characters you could play (multiverse aspect) I think it would’ve released on PS5 and XSX with maybe a PC release a year later if it goes well. Or maybe they would’ve dropped it on all plats to get all the money at once.

Relax this shit would’ve been hard, KTJL only sucked because of changing the entire WORKING formula of Arkham and making it canon to the games, not to mention the shit story and that they obviously ONLY cared about multiplayer for more dinero. Oh also because the lead people who worked on the Arkham games left during development.

@@Jab-Cajun91 Suicide Squad was only bad because it had bad plot, killing off fan favourite characters, connecting it to the Arkham games which makes the previous statement even worse and all of the characters abilities were too similar, like everyone used a gun when it should have only been Deadshot using guns and it was a terrible send off to Kevin’s Batman. Now *this* game looks like a love letter to Spider-Man fans, multiplayer Spider-Man (which everyone wanted for years), Spider-Verse looking portals along with multiple worlds, Gwen Stacy and seemingly Venom being playable, I feel like the list just goes on
