TRANS TEMP GAUGE KITS
GlowShift Auto Transmission Temperature Gauges monitor the operating temperature of your car or truck’s transmission by measuring the transmission fluid temperature. Overseeing these temperatures helps ensure that your transmission does not overheat, which could cause major engine damage. GlowShift has a variety of 2-1/16” (52mm) analog transmission temperature gauges that read from 80° to 260° Fahrenheit, with digital versions that read from 68° to 302° Fahrenheit.

7 Color Series Gauges come standard with a cutting-edge design that will enhance your vehicle’s interior. Depending on which version you select, you’ll have the choice of a black or white gauge dial with a magnified clear or tinted lens and illuminated red needle. Easily cycle through the 7 Solid Color Modes and 2 Color Cycles available for the analog LED display. Solid Colors include Blue, Green, Red, Teal, Yellow, Purple and White.

Feed line. That’s the inlet right? The cold line that’s going back into the trans after the trans cooler? I put my sensor on the line coming out of the trans before any coolers but it’s reading 210-230 when I’m just normal driving around or at a stop light

I have an 87 Buick Grand National with an aftermarket Autometer Trans temp gauge. Can I just use my existing sensor with this gauge?

No, if you purchase the gauge it will come with a new sensor anyway.

Wait where did you get the green and black cables that go from your sensor to cabin?

The black and green wire is just extra wire that can be purchased from our website or any local automotive parts store.

I hooked it all up, the Max my 4l60e has read us 140 degrees

That sounds about right. That's within the normal operating range.

Which ground wire do I use on the wiring harness? I have multiple coming off

The black wire from the gauge needs to be connected to a grounding source inside the truck. The black wire from the temperature sensor needs to be connect to a grounding source under the engine bay.

Our gauges are universal for any vehicle, however, the installation process for that particular vehicle will be different then what is shown in this video. You will need to make sure you select the correct pod that fits that year, make, and model specifically.

What size expandable circuit do i need, and how many? 2006 gmc 1500 with 4l60e. I have the 7 color trans temp gauge Also, i have the triple gauge pod. Is it ok to run all 3 gauges to the one fuse for the ignition, and same for the headlights?

You would need the mini expandable circuit. If you want to connect all of the gauges to just one wire and then power that single wire, we would recommend a 3 gauge wiring kit from our website. Hello, I have a 2006 duramax with the zf6 manual transmission. Im wondering where would I install the sensor because the manuals didn’t come with a transmission cooler, any help would be awesome!

Transmission temperature gauges are designed to be installed in a automatic transmission only. A Manual transmission only holds enough fluid to cover all the synchros when the transmission is in movement. The other thing about manual transmissions is they are a sealed unit so there is no "Pressure port" or other locations a sensor can be installed into the unit. We hope this helps you.

For any transmission cooler line install, we suggest the cooler line that goes from the transmission out to the cooler for your most accurate reading. We also suggest measuring your cooler lines before purchasing our adapters to ensure you get the correct size.

Would it be the same if I direct conned the sensor to the transmission instead of using a t connector?

What’s the different between the stubby and the standard?

The stubby design prevents from over-threading the sensor into the transmission case, allowing for proper clearance and the fluid to flow freely.
