Thank You so much!!! I was worried about adding the fuse ,, when in fact it hooks to a fuse box under dash and then also my power on button, on dash, has a fuse in it. SO I will skip adding the in-line fuse. I have watched at least 6 other videos that never discuss that. They never show the wiring hook up. Now I feel confident about final hook up

Hello, I use the stuff called Gutter Seal or E6000 glue. It will not mold and is real tacky and will not come loose once stuck.

Hey Russel! Thanks for you videos & taking the time to help us all. I got a bit of a problem here though. I have the LSS2 Transducer installed on my HDS 7 GEN2 TOUCH, but I am unable to select it from the pull down options, because it is not listed there. There is a silver tag on the Transducer cable which has a barcode on it, states FINAL ASSY XDCR SS HD. There are also a few numbers under the bar codes, but none apear to be relavent to the sellection process. Another sentence on this silver tag states, waranty void if removed. How do I sellect my Transducer? Can you please help?

Yes sir, how important is it to keep power wire away from transducer cables? Is there a certain distance and be ok? I believe that I'm having some issues with my electrical. My boat is a 99 model and I'm noticing things starting to degrade and not work. Old flasher is out, have water temp gauge that looks more like a slot machine jumbling numbers. I have a hds 9 gen3 and a gen 2 at bow. I installed myself and seeing some of the screen yall show makes me want to pull what hair I have left... out.

Ran into a problem. The battery is above 12v>the power supply is reading 12.47v which is right > inline fuse looks good but only getting .66v on the plug end. Any idea on why power is lost?

How do these mount into the dash? Do I need a bracket or something? I have a hook reveal and it just screwed into the dash.

I just put a Lowrance Hook2 5 on my boat. I ran it through my fuse box instead of using the inline fuse. I put the circle connectors on and plugged the power cable into the unit. But the unit won’t power up. Any suggestions on what the problem might be?

Cracks me up to see thee $60-95k bass boats being put out with standard terminals. Lol. Heat shrink and marine grade is the only way to go. It’s not that much more for large manufacturers to do this.

Question: i have an aluminum hull. Can i epoxy the 83/200 skimmer to the bottom of my boat?
