This is a 2020 pajero QF GLS. I’m installing a new towbars Australia towbar. This is a full run through from the bar itself, the bumper and the wiring.

Just finished mine today thanks for the instructional! Took a bit to find the front engine bay plug though New kit i just received is a one piece and fits accurately though no shims required

I’ve got one of these cars on order with a dealer fitted towbar and brake controller, so it was great seeing how they mount and what’s behind there. Thanks champ 👍

Do you know if this accepts a deeper tongue than the genuine Mitsubishi bar...which is notoriously difficult to get bike racks and things to fit

Good vid, any reason why you didn't replace the tow hooks incase it needs to be loaded onto a flatbed?

Thanks mate. I don’t need the hook as I have the tow bar now. Any hitch can attach to the pin of the bar.

Does that 7 pin plug come with the reed switch in it to disable the sensors?

Yeah I believe it does. When ordering from towbars Australia, there is an option to choose from for this.

Ok. Got a gen 3 and loving it. The 2.4 engine + Aisin 8 speed(cvt like) makes it sweet.
