Installing AutoPly Cargo Van Insulation in RAM ProMaster

10 ай бұрынIn this video, we'll be installing an AutoPly cargo van insulation kit in our RAM ProMaster with 159" wheelbase and high roof. The installation will be similar for other cargo vans, but you need to make sure you purchase the correct kit for your van as these kits are van-specific.

Dumb question, but just trim to fit for 136" wheelbase?

Correct, as of this moment there isn't a kit for the 136" wheelbase, but the 159" wheelbase kit could easily be trimmed to fit. You can also purchase a bulk roll of the insulation and do all the trimming yourself.

This insulation is perfect for both hot and cold environments. It will help keep the van cool in the summers and warm in the winters.

1/2" (the thickness installed in this video) is R2. 1" is R4.

Good video,this is more soundproofing than insulation which i would still do. I'd put some 3M insulation over it and cover the sheetmetal.
