Hi guys ! I understand you did this some time ago but do you remember perhaps which side of the new base plates faces the front ? I mean the is a long and a short pipe like fitting welded to the base plate where the bolt with the knurled head goes through. Somehow it's not really self explanatory to me and my kit came without instructions ...... Any suggestions ? As always I do enjoy your videos !!!

Great vid! One quick question though... How do you get to the battery compartment? I've been looking to put some bucket seats in mine as well but finding a good set with removable seats without breaking the bank is harder than I thought... Since all my wiring for lights, winch,... are located in this compartment I'd like to have quick access like the original seats have.

+Simon Louage As said in the video, these seats have quick release bolts which allow you to remove the seats relatively easily by just unscrewing by hand. So you still have to remove the whole seat but it's fairly quick and simple. Thanks for watching!

+Simon Louage The seats themselves and the rails/brackets are sold separately, so as long as you buy all that, which you'll need anyway, then yes they come with it.

Hi guys! Great channel, I recently bought a Defender 130 and you really inspire. Keep up the good work! I'm quite tall (6'4", 194 cm) and looking for a better seat option then the original. Extended seat rails looks like a good option but they also unfortunately raise the seat. Would you say that these seats are higher then standard? They look snug over the back/neck, how do you think my height would work in them? Thanks from Sweden!

Thanks Kim. They do raise the seats a noticeable amount, and the seats are very comfy, but it is difficult to say whether they'd fit you. I don't think you would have too much of a problem, but it depends how snug your fit already is in the standard seats.

are you seat bolsters still ok got a set of seats same as yours from powerful uk ltd the seat bolster on the drivers side lasted 1020 miles contacted them said there was nothing they could do as i had them and they were out of warranty reason for this is due to the vehicle not being finnished let me know how your seats are doing please ,cheers graham

@@TirsbaekTV any Problems with the sides of the base? do they wear off quickly as you might scratch over them while moving in and out of the seat?

Nice vid guys, but one last question: what did you on your exhaust, because it sounds really nice. So i have also an old V8, but the exhaust is still original, so what can i do:)

+Hans Dürrer Nisse here, nice to hear that you also drive a 90 with a V8, they are getting quite rare...What I did, was I got a straight pipe from Devon 4x4, which I fitted with ease. I still have a small silencer behinde the back wheel. My car is from 1988, and is fittet with a automatic 4-speed gearbox. I have had plans to get a LT95 gearbox, but I recently bought a project fitted with a LT95, and with time is going to be a "only offroad" vehicle, you will see late, what the project is xP
