Huma Air Regulator on FX Streamline tutorial
Its important to UNSCREW at maximum the hammer spring tension screw when you fire without pellet during the process
I forget to film it but of course clean the cylinder with a cloth or something before install the new regulator

FX manual clearly states that the gun should not be dry fired when empty of air. Not sure people read your note before they proceed. If they didn't, they could have end up with a bent valve stem... This crucial warning should have been in bold text on the video itself :)

@@jeff22airguns23 Don't get me wrong, I think your video is great. And I couldn't find any other one showing thie reg removal/installation for the FX SL. However I found one from Ernest Rowe showing a trick to bleed the Wildcat, which has a hole through which he can compress the valve stem. And guess what: the SL has got a similar hole. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/bZ-AfZCUtNrWkZc.html Note that I haven't tried (yet). I always try to figure out what can go wrong before I do sthg.. Making too many assumptions when playing with high pressure may result to disaster...

Thanks for the tip about unscrewing the hammer spring! I didnt do that last time. Those huma regulators are great! I bought one for my bsa r10 se two months ago but couldn't chrono it untill yesterday. I was more than impressed. 242, 242, 242,241, 241, 242, 241, 241, 240, 240,241... Wow..

Does fitting the Huma reg and tuning giving more power,why I ask is I shoot my US spec Streamline .22 on full power wheel setting,I would like the same power output on power wheel setting but on 2,so have option to turn wheel up to 3 when using higher GR pellet.

How much did this increase the shot count ...and is the power adjuster still functional?

I cant say about the shot count: Im still in an "experience phase" so I dont really know, and I didnt note anything before installing the reg. Im now close to 1/2 m/s I was like 3/4/5 before installing the Huma. The power adjuster is still functionnal, it depends on the BAR setting of your regulator. My test was like 115/120 BAR is ok

My Huma didn't come with a screw so I could remove it to make adjustments. What size screw is that?

I didnt get any screw too, I was lucky to find it in the toolbox Im sorry I dont know whats screw it is

Does the vent hole have to align perfectly?

@@jeff22airguns23 Took me a while to figure out that you need the vent hole at the 12 o clock position, check the fitting instructions on the huma website. works alot better now

I just read that dry firing FX airguns without any pressure behind the valve will damage the valve

Thats true. Thats why I said on the description to unscrew the hammer spring at max for minimize that The best is not to do it but be careful with air
