Hey mate, When the torque wrench clicked without the nut turning, it means the nut was already tightened to at minimum what the torque wrench was set to. When you kept tightening it after the click you were over torquing the fastener. Cheers

I know, but I was very careful not to strip them. I just wanted to make sure they are tight enough that they don’t come off when we are driving fast but they also don’t strip off. 50nm seems abit low for something that gets put through so much stress.

@@febuilds It’s your car, you can work on it how you want. Just letting you know a fastener that is over torqued can be damaged before it strips the threads. Over torqued can mean the fastener is stretched past it’s limits and may no longer handle the stresses it faces. These aren’t opinions of mine, just facts. Again, just letting you know 👍

@@julienp2049 thats for the pro tip, will comtact the supplier for the exact torque specs for the new lift kit sway bar arms for 50mm lift and above 🙂👍🏾
