Жыл бұрынLet's grab some Cognito Moto rearsets and install them on our Virago 920 project! Now that the bike is sitting on its own weight we can determine the foot position and make our linkages for the controls. Nothing particularly difficult, just gotta do some figuring!

Yea it's coming along! I like building them this way because it always looks 'rough' as you get everything sorted and made. Then you get everything painted/powdercoated all at once and it's like you're reassembling a totally different motorcycle.

I’m building a similar Virago, and I’m using a lot of your great ideas. Where did you get the rear brake spline bracket from as the spline shaft has a huge diameter compared to the gear shat one?

I had a thought while watching this for the 2nd time. That rear-set on the brake, since you went under and not over. Is the connection point lower than the bike? Like will it have the option to snag on something and inadvertently trigger your rear brake?

I suppose it could, but it won't be the lowest hanging fruit. The bottom of the engine and the battery box that has yet to be built will both be lower. So I wouldn't be overly concerned. I appreciate your attention to detail though!

your knees are way too low, that's what the cutouts are for in the fuel tank.
