Күн бұрынWe pulled the Trick Flow Track MAX cam out of Josh's 1992 Ford Mustang LX Fox Body and installed the Comp Cams Xtreme Energy. The heads are back from being pressure tested so it's time to reassemble the 5.0 V8 with a set of new rings. Once the engine is together we're going to install it, then fire it up for the first time on the new build.

Hey JR, just wanted to let you know that I have been a professional automotive technician for 10 years, ASE certified, I worked at huge dealerships, tire shops, and mom and pops shops. I used Snap on down to Harbor Freight tools, and I want you to know that Milwaukee is by far the most technician friendly cordless power tools available. The value, and the availability is awesome. And they are reliable and powerful. My only regrets are not getting the One Key feature where you can track your lost tools and customize the power levels of your impact gun. I also wish I splurged and bought the protective boots for the tools. (they got really beat up). Maybe something to think about. P.S. I bought the KOVE Solitude headphones a few months ago whenever you were advertising them, and they are AMAZING. I use them on public transportation and I can listen to podcasts crystal clear while drowning out everyone around me. P.S.S. Any tips how to sell a car safely and fast, and get a decent price for it. Thanks

Do whatever you want Josh. I like what you've got going with this one. It's your car, but just remember all the silly looking Ford coupes, sedans and pickups at the car shows with SBC's in them. They took the easy way out and they're a dime a dozen. There are options other than LS swapping that will guarantee massive gains and reliability with a blue oval.

@@WatchJRGo had a feeling it would be one. had a set go bad on my mod engine after I rebuilt it for my 96 xr7 now I am looking for a trans for it because one blew the pump in it and blew the pan out the second I threw in from a junk yard because I missed driving it and blew that one as well. what is that website for j&j because I am wondering if they have a 4r70 they might be selling

AC compressor seems to have too much movement. Might want to look at that to avoid throwing the belt.

I've had several especially when you get into aftermarket fiberglass hoods I wouldn't worry about the paint that blanket is normally used for if the engine is to catch fire the plastic tabs that hold that blanket on melt and let's that blanket fall down and somewhat smother the fire out and I don't think it would do a very good job at that so my honest opinion you're safe go ahead and remove it.hope this helps you out

you could build a killer ls for this stang with the money spent on that sbf and easily make another 2-300 horsepower for THE SAME MONEY.(probably more extra power) i love them,its the best and easiest way to make a shit ton of bullet proof power on the planet.that being said i love seeing the right brand in the right car.

Why the hell did you put sniper efi on it when its a factory efi? It not only is a retarded choice, but it is kind of redundent, spend 1200-1500 on efi system when you could have used stock or trickflow intake lol. Waste of money

The stock EFI was cut out by the previous owner. It was not cut out very nicely. Holley was the easiest way.

5psi on a 2 liter engine would equate to about 1.5psi on a 5.0 liter. That turbo is cool, but only feeds a tiny engine. Watch the boost fall as the RPM goes up, and that's a tiny engine its feeding. Yiuveould need 2 of them in a V6 an 3 to feed a V8.
