I am carnivore so used your video for times.. Also sliced the flesh and sunk some butter with sea salt into the holes and the coated the outside with crushed Celtic sea salt... A cup of water and waiting now for the leg to finish in the InstaPot 👌

Can you do this with the other parts of the turkey (the whole turkey but cut up) without adding too much water and without drying it out?

@@MelanieCooksRecipes Will this way dry the Turkey out at all? Also any tips on how to remoisten Turkey without messing up the seasoning? Lol first time making Turkey so this is actually helpful

Food doesn't get dry in the Instant Pot because it steams it, should be moist

How much sodium is used? Is a lot necessary?

If you want to reduce sodium, just don't add salt (or add very little)

Interesting. You can steam the turkey leg and not fully submerge in water.

Yes in Instant Pot food doesn’t have to be fully submerged to steam

So I finally did my turkey legs in my instant pot, recipe worked well; but I found feather pins in my leg - so for those checking comments beware of the turkey feathers under the skin.
