One thing I learned when trying to straighten hair: It really helps to turn on the straightener

When you don’t have one-

You need to: -turn it on! -Apply heat protectant and brush it through -Use a small amount of hair at a time and section it (the thicker your hair is the smaller the section should be) -Use a high setting and go over the strands once (not fast so that it tugs on the delicate hair but not too slow so that it causes damage, just make sure that it is consistent). If you have rlly thick hair maybe do it twice on a lower setting.

Miss girl really bought a $400 Dyson hair straightener just to tell us not to use it-

I have both, the brush is much slower (you have to go over your hair a lot more or keep it on longer) and it doesn't get rid of frizz as much as a straightener. For me, I have very light weighed hair (if I brush it, it stands in the air) and if I use the brush, it gets straight but still very frizzy and voluminous. If I use the straightener, I can get my hair so straight it falls right on my shoulders and is shiny

i always use a heated hair brush cause 1) it straightens your hair better and 2) there is not much heat damage as it is in a normal straightener

I use a heated hairbrush but it just makes my hair softer not straighter so i just prefer using a hair straightener.

I use this all the time! Gets the job done 10x faster. I have 3a hair and it only takes 45 min at the most with this one. Normal straighteners take 2-3 hours.

I have a heated brush the exact same one in the video and it’s crap!!! Only works if your hair is pretty much straight (which mine is not) I only recommend for people with very little waves otherwise use regular hair straightener (it’s the same amount of damage either way

i have a heated hair brush and yes, i think it’s better than a straightener but my hair is way too thick and curly and knotted to use it because plus it doesn’t look like hers. so yes it works but not for my poofy mess that’s for sure 👍

I actually prefer the hair straightner vs heated hair brush. Cause it works better, but the hair brush is simplier to use, cuz it's like brushing ur hair. They both damage hair so I use heat protection for both.
