In response, David humbly sat before the Lord to offer a prayer marked by exclamation, observation, explanation, and declaration. By faith, he acknowledged that all mankind would be blessed, not because of his own importance or abilities but because of God’s greatness. Alistair Begg points out that hearing God’s word enables us to see life and history from a new perspective and to confidently stand on His promises.

Amazing message of truth! What a plan our God has designed, that through David, and generations down, the MESSIAH would come and change all things! Such mercy such grace! Thank you God.

O how the grace of God amazes me! - After listening a second time to „instruction for mankind“, I desire above all else to just „sit“ in the presence of the Almighty; for it is as we HEAR the word of God that we begin to see things from His perspective! You did it again with this one. 👏 one point you glazed over, but made clear is that in the OT people were justified by faith... their faith in the promise. Just today, I had someone tell me they were justified by works in the OT, but, in the NT, we're justified by faith. How something so simple can cause erroneous thinking is mind-boggling.
