I am Chinese. By the grace of God, I received Jesus as my Lord and Savior at age 42 19 years ago. I read the Holy Bible and pray to the Lord daily. I now have true peace, joy and the assurance of salvation. Hallelujah. Thanks be to the Lord my God and Savior Jesus Christ.

Jesus was in the middle the thrives were on his sides. The theif that was accepted Said " stop mocking this man he is innocent, we are theives and this is our punishment, Lord Lord will you please remember me when you get to your kingdom"? Jesus said " I will see you later today in paradise." The theif repented and confessed his sins then put faith in Jesus by calling him Lord and his faith that he had his own kindom". Jesus knows the heart. Not everyone that calls Jesus Lord will be saved. Jesus himself said many will come before me on the day of judgement and I will tell them to turn away from and they will say but Lird we prophecied in your name and cast demons out in your name. Jesus will say you can't come in for I never knew you. Jesus also said the Lukewarm won't get in.

@@israelisthechosen George Whitefield said, "We are all born Arminians." It is grace that turns us into Calvinists. (Charles Spurgeon, Sermons, Vol. 2, p. 124). Calvinism did not spring from Calvin. We believe that it sprang from the great Founder of all truth. (Charles Spurgeon, Sermons, Vol. 7, p. 298). My friend as a believer in Christ we must abide in the knowledge of the truth written in the Bible, it's not about theological perfection but knowing God in much better sense...it's the same attitude that has destroyed churches in India and abroad by heretical and blasphemous practices...it's easy to dismiss the Biblical truths as "Calvinist" but it's another to read and understand the scripture...read Romans 9 bro

@@rangoman1815 i just refuse to call my self calvinist or belong to that denomination because im a christ follower. Unfortunately spurgeon and calvin are fallible and had taught some unbiblical teachings however they stood strong in the essentials so they are not heretics. I want to stay biblical and not belong to any man made doctrines by philosophies. These two are philosophies. Calvin said we are not made equal. He didnt believe we all are made in the image of God i suppose. The Living God is a God who saves even today till the revelation of His Son. Amen

28:35 - My grandfather was a pastor for 50 years, and I watched him, week after week after week agonize over what he was to preach to his congregation. He was terrified and filled with the spirit at once. Pastor Begg put that beautiful observation of my youth into words.

Susanna Blanchard, I absolutely agree to that, while he enriches me and many others every week, especially since the pandemic has kept us in each Sunday for most the last 12 months, with few breaks in what governments have allowed. While I follow him regularly during the week and on Sundays this just seem to be such an absolutely clear message. It was very balanced and did not stir up the usual fear in my heart related to some of the other reformed pastors thatI have listened to. Breath of fresh clean air.

When I heard him say The Gospel is not only for the lost but also those who are saved I then realized why I teach it everytime I go to a small group, Sunday School, and men`s group. The gospel is indeed the Power of God unto salvation to all them that believe, both the Jew and also the Gentile, I love the Glorious Gospel of the Grace of God, through Jesus Christ.

Oh it’s so awesome how the Lord just continually feed his children from his table of truth. Sometimes it’s gigantic feasts, and occasionally he will give just tiny tastes, little morsels. And the little morsel, little nugget I got from this sermon was simply, “The cross shows the seriousness of sin.” I’m sure I’ve heard a phrase like that many times before, but for some reason that simple phrase is what has been ringing through my ears continually, enough that I had to come back after a full day and write this comment. I’m so grateful that the Lord is so faithful to reveal truth to those who seek after it

I know I feel the same way, keep listening , it gets even better Alistair is using his Gift from the Spirit- teaching / preaching.....I always come back to Alistair to hear the Truth.
