EASA Multi-Engine Instrument Rating (IR) Skills Test (MEIR): How to pass
I share my experience during the test and some of the items I struggled with moving from my PPL to my Multi-Engine Instrument Rating. I went via the competency-based instrument rating route (CB-IR). My test profile was for a VFR departure from Gamston (EGNE), join en route IFR for ILS into Humberside (EGNJ), missed approach, simulated engine failure then general handling and routing to Doncaster (EGCN) for asymmetric hold and NDB approach, followed by VFR recovery and back weather circuit to GAMSTON.
iPad mini mount that worked well for me:
RAM iPad mini holder - amzn.to/2zW5M1i
Suction mount - amzn.to/3e7yjQd
Adaptor - amzn.to/2TsSQHa

Some issues I had with the G1000 discussed.
ILS into Missed Approach & Engine Failure: 4:26
Holding and Non-Precision Approach leading to VFR bad weather circuit: 7:32
This was all asymmetric
