Nice! Can't wait to see the next firebox video. Interested to see the how you come up with the design for the cut out on the cook chamber to slap the firebox into.

Muy bien trabajo. Te consulto desde Uruguay. A qué altura va la caja de fuego con respecto al cilindro principal y que relación de tamaño "largo".

Question felis, do ya'll that use tuning plates? I recently purchased a 250 gallon offset and it cooks great. Maintains temperature from end-to-end pretty good but the food doesn't have the amount of smoke on it that I like (not enough).

So we have a damper in the smoke stack and on the fire box door. Closing or opening it will control the temp and the amount of smoke (dirty or clean) in the cooking chamber. Pretty much you can run our smokers super clean. Or dirty. It also depends on the wood you’re using. For example. We use post oak. It’s a very clean wood and a little sweet. But we also use pecan sometimes on pork. Because it burns dirtier and more sweet. It all depends on what you like!

@@CodeyMikes thanks for responding.in your opinion, if the smokestack was too short for that caused the food to not get enough smoke on it? Maybe the smokes exiting to quickly?

Depends on how big your stack is. And tank.

High temp. It’s what they use for wood burning stoves. Can get it at home-depot

They sell it at Home Depot. It’s for wood burning stoves / furnaces
