Integra Distributor Ignition Coil Replacement

Күн бұрынI bought the Ignition Coil for around $81, I am sure there may be a cheaper one, but that all they had at advance auto parts. I had to get my baby to turn on so you know the move. The Duralast Rotor and Cap together costed around $36 so not too expensive. I may change the starter for another episode so stay tune!!
If you have any question, do comment down below! All you need for this simple repair is;
1. Screw Driver
2. Flat Head
3. 8 mm socket

I bought a distributor and when I took it out of the box and checked, there isn't any marking or P/N on the distributor itself. Is this normal NOT to have marking or P/N on the item itself? How does the store knows what it is if they ever misplace it?

Hmm I would say it is not normal and there should be a part number some where. Odd for it not to have any markings on it but if you want you may just check if everything looks similar to the one already on the car.

Hey Vic, quick question. I am trying to do this as we speak. I have the rotor in the 3 o clock position, but there seems to not be a screw in the other side. I’ve tried all moving it in all directions and no screw… could it be that the rotor is fixed on the distributor?

Did the car happen to have fuel priming issues prior to the coil / dizzy/ rotor replacement ? My GSR has momentary issues with the fuel pump priming on start up which won’t allow the car to start , I’m hoping your solution will resolve the issue
