On Julian Edger's channel he advises pointing the nozzles forward so the car's motion blows the mist into the intercooler. He also suggests that a fine mist rather than a jet allows much faster evaporative cooling. Nice little project :)

just cut off and use normal spray bottle nozzles... the kind that as you twist/rotate, go from stream to spray. This way you can adjust the stream to mist ratio. If you use the factory washer nozzles they are meant to be sprayed like 2 feet out from the point of intended contact(windshield) so they have that time/distance to fan out. But usually intercooler sprayers are mounted like 6 niches away so using factory windshield washer nozzles it just comes out in a thick spray like you see here in this video. Simple fix though... dollar store spray bottle nozzles.

Hi matt, if you want a nice fan spray pattern have a look for some spray bar nozzles for car washes or agricultural sprays. I bought a set for my home built hydrographics tank and if i can find a link I'll pass it on to you mate.. You get a nice fine mist which is what youre looking for. Only thing i can think of that could be an issue is the pressure you can achieve with that pump, however as you only have 2 nozzles, i think it will be enough to get the reaults you want..

I feel like it wouldn't do TOO much on the dyno because it covers a small surface and kinda just drips down, but on the road would probably be a different story, and probably far more effective as the wind would feed it a lot more, none the less, cool mod and nice zeddy my dude!

turn em around and let the wind spray it back to cover a bigger area plus break it up more

Put about 50/50 methanol and water in the tank it will cool it down a lot more

Just don't try using this at the Pod, you will be thrown out :-)
