Loving everything you said! Blood and hair definitely makes a working more powerful. I'd love to record a video discussing how to bond spells to certain people (taglocks, etc) but I'm not sure how the KZfaq platform would receive my content if I were to also discuss blood magick. 😂 Just know that I am right there with you! I have to thank you because you are the reason why I was reminded of the 48 Laws of Power. I had completely forgotten about this until you brought it up - but I know it can be a really effective and popular thing to do. So thank you for reminding me of this and inspiring me to reread that book! As far as magick being both an art and science... I keep going back and forth on this one. In magical systems we do use some sort of scientific method so there is that. However, A+B does not always equal C, and that's where I get hung up. One person can't do the same exact spell as another person and produce the same results. Or even... An individual may not be able perform the same spell twice and get the same results. However, I can see the arguments for both sides! I believe magick is potentially an art form that we approach in a scientific way. But.... My opinion on this changes all the time. 😂 Love this discussion. Thank you so much for your input!

@@IvyTheOccultist Yep. That's true! Everything is in constant flux and will always change - that's the essence of magic/magia/magnus - to bend, to change/tamper/alter/redirect. It's the universe's bloodstream - a river flowing through the veins of the cosmos. I would say that one cannot taylor themselves to a practice - that won't work, instead: taylor it to ourselves, like putting on a new suit.

@@IvyTheOccultist I always thought the whole 'moon effects your mood' thing was just nonsense. But I really started to see the different in my mood and in things like how accurate my reading are during different fases. Or during with moon fase I get more creative, ect. It's fascinating too say the least.

@@suzannetol definitely fascinating! One of my thesis statements revolves around the moon and how it affects us on a biological level. I won't say too much more on it since it's still under development, but it's incredible how much the moon truly affects us!

@@suzannetol Will do!! It basically revolves around the rate of osmosis happening within the body. (Osmosis is the process of water moving from one gradient to another.) The moon phase may potentially affect the rate of osmosis (speeding it up or slowing it down) because of the effect the moon has on water, tides, etc. And this increase/decrease of osmosis activity within the body may be why our moods are affected, etc. It's hard to explain through text. But it's definitely a work in progress!

Oh, you can use dandelion oil for so many things! In this video, I was casting a spell to improve my solar plexus energy center. This spell was for improving confidence, increasing my personal power, and improving my physical health. I use dandelion oil when I need an extra boost of power because the plant is very hardy and strong. I will also rub the dandelion oil over my solar plexus (belly button region) on a regular basis to increase my power. Dandelion also has incredible medicinal benefits and it's really good for your skin!

The concept of "will" is always an interesting debate! I think it comes down to how a person perceives the mind and soul, because not everyone has the same views on what our soul actually is. For me, sometimes it's not as easy as just knowing what we want. We might consciously believe that we want something but there may be subconscious desires or motives that contradict that. Without aligning our conscious mind and our subconscious mind (through shadow work, deep introspection, etc.) we might think we want certain things that our subconscious mind (or soul) doesn't actually want. And there is a split that occurs here... Where a person consciously wants something but continues to self sabotage and they aren't sure why. I hope that makes sense? This is a difficult discussion to have through text but I'm glad you brought it up! I have known many people that view the concept of "will" differently and it's always a fun thing to debate! I love what you said about vibration. Definitely agree! And thank you so much for your kindness!!
