Intermittent fasting works and is actually beneficial not just for people who are trying to maintain their weight but also those who want a healthy lifestyle. Just keep in mind to do it right and plan it well. There are countless resources out there that one can find on how to simply apply it and find healthy options. Eat healthy and meditate. Fasting doesn’t mean Starving. There’s a difference.

I've been doing this all my life without realizing it then I started eating more than 3 times a day that is when all my health problems started nandyan ang HTN, bloating, sluggish etc etc. So I started IF and now my bloating and hypertension are all behind me now and I am 😊

@Peanutshell ako rin over pero kulang naman ako sa exercise, walking ang only way. Kasi 55 kilos ako at ang main target 40 therefore kailangan mag bawas ng 15 kilos.🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Effective po siya with proper diet and proper calorie deficit depending on what your body needs. I made a mistake last 2020 na nasobrahan ako sa kaka ganito nag collapsed na ako at sinugod sa hospital kaya balance is the key.

Same here po ma'am. Nasobrahan sa fasting then 4 months after more than 2 weeks akong nagkasakit. Ngayon, tumaba na naman po ako. 🙏🏽🥺

Ang IF ay hindi sa wlang mkain, kundi meron kang mkakain pero restricted ang oras para kumain..mgka iba po yan.. research research din… wag kumain pag hindi gutom. Un lang

IF promotes lowering of insulin caused by eating in general. So it makes sense na kapag hindi ka kumain, nagagawang gamitin ng katawan mo ung fats mo for energy. Insulin prevents your body from accessing fat reserves. Source: Dr Berg & Dr. Jason Fung Snacking is what kills weight loss. Sobrang winowork on ko to. dahil although nag IF ako, di parin ako dapat mawili mag snack excessively in between my big meals during my eating window. ALSO, para sa mga mag sasabi na ang lungkot naman mabuhay ng ganito, malungkot din yung feeling mo na wala kang control sa pagkain mo and you feel crap afterwards. Pareho mahirap, and para sakin, dun nalang ako sa mahirap na makakabuti para sa katawan ko. Pag naging habit naman na siya, wala na yung essence ng pagiging mahirap. It just becomes your life.

Agree. Pag sanay na sa IF at low carb hindi naman laging gutom. Kahit ako never kong na imagine na kaya ko palang hindi kumain every 3 or 4 hours. Hindi ko pa kayang alisin ang rice kaya ni reduce ko na lang to less than 1/4 ng dati kong consumption. At least 5 cups a day ba naman ibang usapan pa pag paborito ko ang ulam. 😂Nag stop na din sa chichirya pero syempre may cheat day. 😅 I do 18:6, pero madalas umaabot ng 20 hours.

YES. When you eat less, papayat ka talaga. Maganda ang IF. Di complicated. Tapos pag sanay kana di kana mabilis gutumin.

kaming mga muslim nag fasting kami 14 to 15 hours araw araw sa loob ng 30 days sa buwan ng Ramadhan plus 3 days per week kapag di Ramadhan

In my opinion, combining IF with HIIT and strength training is the most effective way to maintain this kind of lifestyle in the long run. I have been doing it for more than a year and my weight is constantly within the normal range of my BMI.

Thank you for answering my question. I currently weigh 80 kg, and im aim for 63 kg. I believe with HIT and IF i can reduce my weight in 3months.

Medyo katakot yung small frequent feeding, kasi it will keep your glucose high all day, and when you maintain this glucose level on a higher level, if prolonged, it can cause insulin resistance. Its better to eat three times a day if you cannot follow an IF. Avoid too much carbs and sugar - stick to just three meals, no snacking in between. Our body maintains an optimal amount of blood sugar level to function efficiently and to keep you alive. When you eat - even if a bit, our body will respond by activating insulin to regulate your blood sugar, now if you eat FREQUENTLY of carbs and sugar - the body will then matabolize it and break it down to simple elements - during this phase when you intake more food there will be no time for your blood sugar to regulate to an optimatimal level. The amount of time your blood sugar is elevated compared to when it is low is also equivalent to the amount of time your body is storing all the excess sugar and convert it into FATS. The more you eat, the more your body is working hard to keep up with the amount of sugar flooding in your body and wont be able to settle down to enter the cycle of using the stored fats from all the feeding you jus tdid. The reason why we need to lessen the frequency of our food and drink intake (except for those that dont have calories such as water) is for our body to rest and enter the stage of when it can reverse the fed state and start the RECYCLING STAGE, when it can ACCESS the stored FATS to use it aa energy source to burn. It usually reach this stage at around 12-18 hrs, therefore, the more you maintain this time the longer your body burns the fats you just stored from all the eating. So yes, because of that, IF is really effective for the body to access all the stored fats and recycle it into your energy source, therefore, you are burning excess fats more efficiently. But ofcourse, you still need to consult your doctor if you would want to know more and other contraindications.

True! Ewan ko ba mali mali din itong mga "expert" in my case, pag round the clock ako kumain hindi ako maka number 2 and lagi mo gusto kumain. Pag IF, mas naging regular then walang crave

Self discipline lang naman talaga kung gusto mong pumayat..Me I'm 65 kg before but now I'm already 45 kg or sometimes 44 +kg..I eat 3 times a day but only a little amount of food and I'm always drink warm water especially in the morning when I wake up..👍👍👍

I'm doing 18:6 IF, after 3 days hindi na ako ginugutom. Sobrang sarap sa pakiramdam and most importantly nawala hormonal imbalance ko which is nagccause ng acne ko. I'm not an overweight person, medyo tinataasan ko lang yong calories intake ko para ma maintain weight ko

Ako din. Dati mainitin ako. Sobrang pawisin pero nong nag start akong mag intermittent fasting I noticed na balance n yong body heat ko. I feel hot lang kapag mainit ang panahon pag malamig naman I feel cold din. Di gaya dati kahit full blast na yong AC I feel hot pa rin.

As in! It helped me with my hormonal acne too. I do 16-20 hrs depende lang. I also tried light work outs before mag end ang fast and it totally made a difference

Parang hindi ako agree sa almost lahat ng sinabi ng Nutritionist. I have been into Intermittent Fasting for 3 years na. And in fasting state we should remember that we can only take 3 types of fluids: green tea, black coffee and water (no creamer and no sugar) Intermittent fasting is not a fad diet as you have said it is only a meal pattern, it is a lifestyle.

Effective sya not just for weight loss but for overall health. I do intermittent fasting regularly. I fast for 19 hours and would only have two meals a day, sometimes only one as I don't feel hungry anymore and feel so strong even without food I could still exercise and do work and chores! Not only did it help me lose weight but also contributed to me being healthy and rarely get sick.

@@cielopajartin5694 depende KC Yan sa Tao eh. You don't have to follow ung kdlasan gngawa Ng IBA na kumakain at 12noon then dpat stop na Ng Kain by 8pm. Aq KC I start eating at 11am then stop na Ng Kain by 7pm. KC auko Ng masyado kumain Ng late bigat SA pakiramdam q. Atleast I do 16hours fast when I started. Hanggang SA nasanay na ko to the point na one meal a day nlang at nkakapag fasting na Ng mas mhabang oras kdlasan 19-21hours pa. KC hndi na q nkakaramdam Ng gutom.

Ganun din ako nag umpisa sa 16:8 ngayon 19:5 kc mas mabilis ang resulta dating mataas ang blood pressure ngayon nag normal na sya at nakakaranas nadin ako dati ng early symptoms ng diabetes ngayon nawala na at mas matagal nadin gutumin at mapagod,dating 86 kilos ngayon 73, sa loob lang ng 6 months kasabay ang workout napaka effective nya desiplina lang tlaga kc ang hirap bitawan kung ano ang nakasanayan,

Ano po kinakain nyo non? Rice pa din po ba kahit 1meal nalang kayo per day. If 11am to 7pm. Anong oras po talaga kayo nag sstart talaga kumaen ng meal non? naguguluhan po kasi ako e kung buong 8hrs ba kumakaen or talagang isang beses pa din sa 8hrs hehe. Salamat po.

@@maryroseampo7356 what 16:8 ratio in IF means sa loob po ng 8 hours pwede na po kayo kumain ng foods na gusto niyo, with moderation. Then pag natapos na ung 8 hours niyo po, then dun na magsisimula 16 hours na walang kain at tubig lang ang alternative if ever nakakaramdam kayo ng gutom. Kunwari, sakin po 9am to 5pm ang 16:8 ko. Sa loob ng 9-5 kumakain po ako ng foods na normally lang kinakain ng mga kasama ko sa bahay (nakain pa din ng kanin, pero minimal na lang and more on fruits and veggies). Then after 5pm, di na po ako kakain and kakain na lang po 9am the next day. :) Bali ung foods lang na kinakain ko minimal lang like kung hanggang saan at ilang amount lang kayang kainin mo. And avoid junk foods, sweets, fatty foods and sweet drinks that could hinder your eagerness to fast. Water is really effective for weight loss and fasting. Right now, I'm at 79.5 kilos :)

For me IF is effective and sustainable. I’ve been doing it for a year. I started at 70kgs I’m down 54 kgs now, I’m not active.

@ITZY thank you. 16:8 ang fast ko. Pero ung 1st 3 mos tlga disciplined ako. Inalis ko added sugar, no instant or processed food sa diet. Caloric deficit pero Nde ako nag ka count calories kse ang hassle. 1 cup of rice lng a day no break fast, black coffee lng. Tapos salad sa gabi. Gradual ang weightloss 0.4 to 0.6 weekly lng. I drink green tea everyday it helps with metabolism. After a few months binalik ko din paunti unti ung mga food na iniwasan ko. Sa pag me maintain nmn caloric deficit lng Pero kumakain na ko ng gusto ko. Basta maintain lng 16:8 na fasting window.

Tama ka.. from 50 kg. Naging 63 kg na ako.. after ko managanak. Di na bumalik timbang ko. Ng try ako mag IF mga 4 days lang.. 1.5kg agad nawala sakin. 16:8 din. Di naman ako nahirapan since ganito nman talaga eating pattern ko bago ako manganak dati. Ewan ko ba at bakit panay kaen ko after ko manganak.. naka 1 yr na ehh.. pero panay padin kain ko.. Sa IF ung ginawa ko is from 2pm-10pm lang ako kumakaen. Tas the rest. Water nlng.. at 1 time ako mg green tea with mint,with yamang bukid na turmeric, honey at lemon... the rest mg 8 hrs. 1 time lang ako mg rice.. tas walang juice and softdrinks.. Pero saklap. Ngkasakit ako. Mga day 5. Hahaha. Kaya tinigil ko muna. Sobrang sama pakiramdam ksi ngka flu ako. Baka humina resistensya.. kaya kumaen nlang muna ako. Pero nasa 62 parin nman timbang ko.. kasi i started 63.5kg eh.. baka after 2 days pag ok na ako mg IF na uli. Hirap pa sa schedule ko ksi nurse ako at shifting ang duty. Pag mornjng duty ako 6am. Papasok ako walang kaen. Tas mag tea lang ako mga 8am.. tas 2pm na ako kakaen.. imagine. Ngbubuhat ako ng pasyente.. active ksi work ng nurse. Palakad lakad kung saan2x. Mgbigay gamot. Orthopedic unit pa ako. Tulungan mo pa pasyente pumunta banyo. Hehe.. di ko alam paano ko nakakaya pero halos di nmn ako nakakaramdam ng gutom.

@ITZY Kaya yan! In 3-4 mos mafifeel mo na ang results. Basta pag ntetempt ka isipin mo nlng alam mo na lasa nian. Kse pde mo nmn ibalik yan paunti unti din. Ngaun kumakain na ko ulet ng mga gusto ko. Pero mejo iwas tlga sa mga matatamis. Pag nag cheat ako back to fasting lng din. Eto so far na maintain ko and nag lu-lose pa din. Kse target ko is 51! Good luck po!

@ITZY para mkita mo progress mo mag selfie ka weekly. Ganun ginawa ko na icompare ko before so lalo nakakainspire na makita ung progress. Ung eating window tinapat ko sa sleep. Ung 1st meal of the day inadjust ko based dun. For example 11am ang first meal ko, until 6 pm or 5pm ang last meal ko.

I agree. Mag invest sa fruits and veges. Iwasan ang junk foods, street foods at yong mga convenient foods. Kumakain naman Ako ng mga pinagbawal pero once a month lang at kunti lang. Too much of a good thing is really bad.

7 months ago i used to watched yung ganitong kind of vids from GMA. Weight ko noon is 114 kg. Ngayon im happy and proud dahil nagawa ko sya yung mag papayat enjoying and trusting the process talaga. Now, my weight is 84 kg. Heheeh more pa to lose. Diet ko now is cal def im doing cardio din and strength exercise.

i was able to do fasting back in summer of 2017, 14 yrs old ako back then. i was able to lose weight from 66 kgs to 56 kgs. nagawa ko yun before dahil siguro bata pa ko and wala pa gaanong iniintindi. ngayon, 19 yrs old na ko and gusto ko pa rin magtry ng fasting pero mahirap kapag nagtatrabaho ka na. hehe

Yes, super effective. Doing 16:8 fast in a month na. Minsan 24 hours once a week. Aside sa weight loss, aiming for its health benefits depende sa stages ng fasting na gingawa mo. Iwasan lang ang sugar at high carbs na pagkain.

Ung gusto ko e achieve kaya ako ng fafast is yung autophagy. 38 hours yung pinaka mahaba ko na fast. Gusto ko ma achieve yung 72 hours sana para sa stem cell regeneration at new immune cells sa katawan. Pero paalala lang bago mag prolonged/extended fasting research po muna kung ano dapat gawin at dapat kainin during fast and after fast.

IF makes sense in a very sedentary and modern lifestyle. We simply carried over the old custom of eating 3 times a day because our ancestors have to work hard out on the field and they can burn those calories rather quickly. We don't need that anymore because our lifestyle involves very little physical work.

I don't do fasting, pero I limit myself to eat 3x a day. Mataba din ako. Pumayat lang ako matapos akong sabihan ng kaibigan ko: 1. 1 rice to no rice a day 2. Iwasan ang 3M's - Maalat, matamis, mamantika 3. drink a lot of water 4. Bawasan talaga ung calorie in take. Iwasan ang mga tinapay or dairy products, noodles, processed food, mas damihan ang gulay, fruits and proteins, itlog, fish chicken & meat

I guess it is very effective coz from 60 kilos ay naging 46 kilos nalang ako ngayon. I started intermittent fasting late 2019 and after 4 months nabawasan po ako ng 7 kilos. Tapos dahan2 na talag akong nabawasan ng timbang hanggang na maintain ko na po ngayon ang timbang ko sa 46 kilos. I'm only 5 ft so ideal po sa height ko ang 46 kilos.

Proper/balanced diet together with exercise will give you good benefits. In my experience, I gain weight and reached 55kls from the usual 48kls. But when I decided to have a proper diet, less sugary foods/drinks and exercise, in just 4months from 55kls down to 45kls. And now, I'm still maintaining it.

Me from 87 kg to 77 kg in just a month. 24 hrs+ fasting (1 meal a day). Now im still doing fasting while working out na. Hirap nako mag bawas ng timbang at bumagal na since nag bubuhat ako. Most ng fats ko replacing na ng muscles I guess sobrang bilis pa rin ng metabolism ko. 🤷 Road to 68-70kg and 12% body fat

sa 4 na beses ko kumain sa isang araw ngayon, 1 x a day nalang ako kumain. with 3 liters of water a day. intermittent fasting nag work talaga sakin. nakakababa ng blood pressure at cholesterol level. mas payat mas healthy. love yourself🙂

@@fourtheboys96 Depende ibat-iba preference ng bawat tao.. wala naman religious ruling kung gaano kadami ang dapat kainin after the fasting time. But there are islamic tradition/practice na advisable na kunte lang ang kainin immediatelly after the fast (iftar) and drink water first and eat dates(sweets). Then eat ulit sa madaling araw (suhoor) before sunrise.

As we grow old our metabolism weaken, to cope up with this I embrace IF. Started for 12 hours, now im on my 2nd mos. Of my 16:8 and aiming for 20 hrs.and planning to start to combine it with exercise. One thing that I really like with IF it kills my appetite no more binge eating. It works for me, hopefully it works with a lot of people too.

I used the calorie deficit method and it works pretty well, I only consume 800 calories per day, only 1/4 of rice, from 195-145, after working out for 6 months straight, btw. my exercise are shadow boxing (cardio) and jogging, the total duration of my workout everyday averages between 1-2 hrs and it is worth it, no side effect or whatsoever.

Good job! I’m at 900 days Keto/carnivore IF OMAD 23:1 everyday myself. Every beginning of the month I do a 168hr prolonged fast! Lost 100lbs & stopped all maintenance pills. You don’t need kanin at asukal in life, that’s a myth! You need to o get fat adapted and ketones are the preferred fuel for the brain, not glucose!

Nag-IF Ako for a year and from 90kg, bumaba talaga ang timbang ko to 67 kg. Effective siya pero nagmukha akong matanda and dry yung skin ko. Kasi pulus diet at Jogging lang ginagawa ko. Now sinasabayan ko na siya ng workout sa gym to build some muscles and I like my body physique now.

Almost 8+ years na din ako nag fafasting, base on my experience eh legit sya na macocontrol mo yung weight mo HOWEVER need mong sanayin yung body mo na hindi kumain ng umagahan at tanghalian, bali kape, tubig maga ganyan lang kainin mo then sa hapon bago matulog, pwede kang kumain ng KAHIT NA ANONG GUSTO MO. Dipende kasi sa katawan ng tao kung gaano kabilis mag adapt sa fasting, sakin kasi umabot ng buong 2 months bago nasanay yun metabolism ka na hindi magutom ng umagahan at tanghalian.

Ang bata pa nung expert na tinatungan ninyo,pero old parin ang approach at pag intindi niya sa intermittent fasting. 1.) sabi niya sa long term daw pwede ka daw bumaba yung sugar.. what? Iho kakain ka prin within 24 hours, maraming good benefits ang fasting, naglilinis ng mga ugat, ginagamot nito ang diabetes in long term, nakakahaba ng buhay.. Alam nyo ba na sa mga studies kung bakit mahaba ang buhay ng mga matatanda dati ay dahil konti lang sila kumain. Dahil ang katawan natin ay nag fofocus lang ayusin ang lahat ng nasisira sa katawan dahil sa pagtanda bawat araw . Kung marami kang kinakain nauubos na ang oras ng cell mo para tunawin at istored ang mga kinain mo. Imbes na nasa ay nagpapa function ang cell para mag ayus ng sira ng katawan ay hindi na nito nagagawa ang kanyang tungkulin. 2.) Sa lalo mo lang daw ginugutom ang sarili mo at lalo kang mag crave at ang return daw ay mas marami kang kakainin at mag gain pa ng weight. Mali yan, kung paano mo sinanay ang sarili mo magiging habit na yun at iyon na ang hahanapin ng katawan mo. Nag intermittent fasting ako at inaral kong maigi ito. madami health benefits ang IF hindi lang weight loss.. controlled blood sugar, joint pains etc. dati pag gising ko umaga medyo hirap ako maglakad o tumayo dhil sa joint pain sa paa.. pero nung nag IF ako tska no sugary drinks nawala. pati yung parang bloated feeling o may pressure sa right abdomen ko nawala. 16:8 ako, mahirap lang talaga sa umpisa kasi para kang nahihilo at gutom pero pag naka 1 week kana magiging komportable na stomach mo at ma decrease din hunger issues mo. Natawa ako kay doc na mag 2-3 hrs small frequent eating daw hehe, very old practice na yan at pede kapa mag binge eat lalo pag ganyan.

I watch Dr. Jason Fung, a kidney specialist and Dr. Jamnadas, a cardiologist on intermittent fasting. Last week I did 20/4 fasting and feasting. This week, I will do one meal a day. I'd say, listen to them and learn how to manage eating. As Dr. Jamnadas said, eating small meals frequently is not good for the insulin because it makes insulin levels always raised all the time. I am also trying my best to eliminate flour products. So far I lost some weight - not much - I am not weighing myself. I feel the loss in the way my clothes fit. My clothes no longer feel so snug. I am doing it with the end goal of losing anti-cholesterol med.

Effective ang IF kung sasabayan ng tamang diet... Carbs and sweets should be cut until you reach your goal weight... Then limit na lang for maintenance... Kailangan lang talaga ng matinding motivation mga besh! Me doin low carb eating 6days+1day cheat day w/o IF dahil bf mom ako😃 Still loosing weight, slowly but still I'm happy. Just trust and enjoy the process. Self discipline is a must!

Maling mali ka ma'am, we should not demonise sugar which is carbs. The one that should be "cut" is fat, the fat you eat is the fat you wear. Fat which is: milk (why would you even drink milk when you're an adult, and the milk powder mom's give to their children nowadays is not even necessary and healthy, breast fed milk is good enough), oil, butter, margarine, pork, beef, chicken, nuts, avocados, eggs, bacon, burger, french fries, do you get what I'm saying? Instead we should eat more sugars, which again is carbs: rice, potatoes, kamote, fruits, mangos, bananas, bread, etc... But do you know why? It's because sugars which again is carbs is 4 calories per gram compare to fat which is 9 calories per gram, so what does this mean? It means that you can eat double the amount of sugars compare to fat for the same amount of calories. So if you eat sugars (carbs) you will be easily satisfied and end up consuming much lower calories, which is the goal of weight loss than when you eat fats. When I'm talking about sugars I'm not saying eat more donuts, chocolate, I emphasize this because when you see on tv when they're talking about sugars, I guarantee you, you will see donuts, you know what's wrong with donuts? It's not the sugar, it's not the bread, it's the oil used to cook that bread.

Don't do the small intake of foods, do the small calorie foods, like for example: greens, oats, etc. This is effective, because I do this everyday, in 2-3 weeks I lose 3 kg, also take water everyday. 🙂

Sorry, but it is not a fad diet. It is a lifestyle. I am 45yo and I have been doing IF 16:8 for more than two years now. I was 94.65kgs before IF and pre-diabetic, but when I started doing TMAD (two meals a day) and 16:8 hrs IF and sometimes 18:6, I gradually lost weight and my cardiac panel results eventually were all normal. I am now 58kgs and I am healthier, thanks to IF. I just make sure that while on fasting mode, I drink my water with himalayan salt to keep me hydrated. And before I start my feasting or eating time, I either sip on my home-made broth (may it be from chicken bones or pork bones) or sauerkraut. Then my go to feasting foods are always with a lot of vegetables, green leafy ones, partnered with fish and or any meat. I make sure that I don't eat beyond 6pm. This has become my way of eating for almost three years now and I feel way better than before.

I hope the program invited a registered physician who is an expert on IF. There are a lot of new studies now that promotes IF and caution about frequent meals. There are also a lot of benefits of IF that were not diacussed.

agree. yung tinuturo dati sa college na small frequent meals is not for everyone and may studies na din to back the benefits of IF. I'm a Registered Nutritionist Dietitian and I believe it's time for us to be open to studies about different types of diet. which diet really works and which does not.

I was 85 Kilos July last year before I started Intermittent Fasting, Fast forward June 2024 Im only 63 Kilos Pasok na sa BMI ko sa height na 5’4. I am now planning to sustain I also changed na to Brown Rice from White Rice, I also started doing exercise to make my body stronger.. Unang 2 buwan nakaka gutom talaga but after 3 months masasanay kana, napansin ko din na nawala na yung pagiging mabigat ng katawan ko or parang laging pagod..Mas naging Ok dij mood ko at mas naging energetic pa nga ako unlike noong napaka taba ko pa..I can say na effective talaga sya, lalo na kung like me pamilya kayo ng hypertensive at diabetic magandang umpisahan nyo na..Same din naman pagdadietin kadin ng doctor kapag highblood or diabetic kana..so bakit mo pa aantayin yun kung habang maaga pa agapan mo na..

Mas effective ang intermittent fasting 8/16 method kung everyday may activity gaya ng pagpasok sa trabaho. Lalo na kung pag-uwi galing work ay mag-exercise pa kahit 6 minutes. 2000 calories a day ako at regular exercise 1000 cals sa Umaga 1000 cals sa Gabi and effective in just 1 month I loss 7 kilo gram and my exercise atlis 1 hour a day. My meal is egg, chicken breast , broccoli , for my low carbs corn and green vegetables I did not eat junk foods and My source of fats is avocado, peunut and fish salmon or tuna

The only effective diet I had wasn't even planned. I went to a secluded island - for a camping with 2 other friends when a storm broke out and eventually became a typhoon. One friend who was the only one that can pilot the boat said it'll be really risky to sail cuz' I can't swim plus the fact that the wind, the rain and the wave was on it's peak. We stayed in that islet for like 2 weeks, plus additional week when we realized that the reserved gas was actually used up for cooking, and for starting fire to keep as somehow dry and warm for days. We only had food good for 2days- and we stretched it to 3 weeks, we even tried fishing, we ate birds, and actually refused to eat the frog that we cooked 😅 we survived on coconuts, kamatsili? Dunno' the spelling lol, unriped papaya and sweetpotato leaf.. and the shells we got along side the rocks near the cove. On the 18th day, uncle of our friend came searching for us, we didn't even realized we've lost so much weight. Adding the fact that 2 of us got bronchitis for staying wet for days. Was so tired, and was sick but that 3 weeks was worth it 🤣 thrifting escapade wasn't always safe but it does do wonders- at times lol I've lost roughly 5kilograms in 18days. 😅 wasn't it great?

Frequent small meals will trigger constant elevation of insulin. Hyperinsulinemia can cause a lot of problems and diseases. Hormone inbalance yan. During the stone age and even millions years ago, humans did not eat frequently. We either have none to eat or we feast. The best way for a healthier body is IF with low carb and periodic extended fasting. Moderate to high healthy fat, medium protein and low carb are proven to be the best

Fasting has a fear factor and stigma affiliated to it. If done right, fasting has numerous benefits not just from losing weight stance. It’s proven to reverse diabetes (pre-diabetic and even insulin-dependent diabetic) lowers BP, reduces inflammation, improves digestive functions and bowel movement, increases Growth hormone up to 2000 percent, improves patients with heart problems, improves allergies, improves mental clarity and focus and overall mental health, can help avoid neuro problems like Alzheimer’s and dementia fr elderly, improves our microbiomes functions, AUTOPHAGY, mitophagy, and can possibly reverse aging, and the lists can go on and on… Like the experts said, we have our own doctor in our body, and fasting might be the answer. Yes with a typical 3 meals with snacks in between or kahit sabihin mo pa frequent “small” meals, that can result in insulin presence and that can cause most of the problems above.

tips ko lang sa gustong pumayat...bawasan ang pagkain ng maraming starchy foods tulad ng (kanin, tinapay at noodles) at matatamis lalo na mga drinks na matatamis yan ang main contributor ng pag taba tsaka mamantikang pagkain(fried foods)....minsan minsan ok lang pero dapat ilimit lang un quantity ng pagkain....dapat sanayin kumain ng balance para di na bumalik un katawan sa dati....mahirap magrebound....self discipline and change of lifestyle parin talaga..napagdaanan ko din yan....maganda ang ginawa niya di madaliang papayat mas magiging longterm ang dahan dahan pag payat kaysa sa biglaan...

@@reignlopez5094 actually u can start intermittent fasting but still eating the same food. Pag nasanay ka na sa routine, you can change naman the type of food gradually like no softdrinks no ice cream etc etc

3yrs na akong IF natotonan ko yan sa. Kaka search ko dr.Ekberg da best galing nya mgpaliwanag b4 55kg ako sa hight kong 4'11 now maintain ko ang 43kg low carb pati ako minsan keto din.omad works for me one meal a day. Sunday sempre cheat day 🤣🤣

Intermittent fasting yes for me I use 8-16 window 3 months kona Ito ginagawa , from 63kg now I’m 59kg in my eating window I also cut out carbs on my diet . Pero lahat ng gusto kong kainin nkakain ko padin pero in small portion na .

Super effective sya.. Im doing 16/8 ika 20 days ko na ngayon from 57kg now 53.3kg nlng di na ako kumakain ng mga sugary food breakfast ko is oats sometimes rice tpos dinner ko fruits nlng pero nag eexercise din ako kasabay ng IF every morning exercise and 8 glasses of water everyday

Bawasan ang calories na intake in a day more water at exercise ng balance. At di maglaylay ang excess na taba..im 84 kilos a while now im 52 kilos.. Waistline q is 34 inch now 28 already. And im so happy na achieved q un goals q na weight lose..

Sa una talaga mahihilo ka, iinit ang ulo mo, maninibago ka… Pero nagawa ko yun minsan nga nag no meal a day ako, water lang as in. Kaya naman hahaha but don’t do eat kung beginner pa lang :)

Losing weight is different from losing fat.. pwede kang mag lose ng weight pero the unwanted fats nandon pa din like sa belly, arms and thigh. Kaya if you chose IF make sure you do weights din para you build muscles and lose fats. Kasi once you lose weights our skin is elastic so it can cause loose skin which is in my opinion is yucky.

The nutritionist is so WRONG in so many levels. Intermittent Fasting is SAFE(except for diabetics) and proven to be EFFECTIVE! The "eating frequent meals" is not a good advice especially at this age and time. It is actually primitive to be honest and may increase insulin in a bad way. With IF, you can prevent hypertension and weight gain and so many more illness so i advice people to try it for themselves. I would just like to point that the "feasting" period DOEST NOT mean you can eat ANYTHING! You should still mind the things that you eat. IF is a tool to hasten and help you lose weight in a safe and fast way. That is all there is to it!

8:16 is really effective though if you do much things like heavy lifting jobs or something that will make you tired up fast i think you should eat more in 8 hrs focus on more vegetables,fruits,beef and other healthy foods and also remember when you are in fast drink water or something that'll keep your body and mind good condition while fasting

Kunting Almusal Snack kunting Lunch kunting snack uli, Kunti Dinner kunting snack bago tulog ilang bisis tayong kumakain yan anim na bisis sus yumayaman negosyanti sa pagkain.. dito. Tayong mga normal na tao kain ng kain hangat nagkakasakit tuwa tuwa naman si Doctor at si Botika..

Effective po siya hehe, I started last year nung 18th bday ko. Pero alongside IF May HIIT din me. May workout apps na para dun. Maganda ung may progression ung workout mo. Pero, after nun magwawant k n kumain ng marami. Kaseeee sobrang payat ako after 5months. Madali na ko mapagod. So ngaun nakain na ko ng normal.

Water fasting is very effective, too. I did the water fasting for 3 days, and from 42kg naging 38kg ako. Ang bilis ng epekto.

@@akio_1400 i walk 8k steps per day but after i got to 90kg i stop because got lazy. After that i only eat one meal a day and drink green tea everyday so i only eat from 12pm to 1pm. And take vitamins also

October 2021 ang waist ko is 43 inches then as of now 35 inches dhil una is nag calorie counting lng ako snsulat at log in ko lhat ng knakain ko then I am on my 3 weeks of intermittent fasting diet nag start ko this month lng at I feel good since nag bbreastfeeding ako ang gngwa ko lng is snasbay ko sa tulog ang fasting. Basta 14-10 ang oras ko. Bsta wag mo deprived srli mo sa food at never ever ka dpt mag crashed diet.

INTERMITTENT FASTING IS NOT FOR EVERYONE! THE DIETITIAN IS RIGHT. I tried intermittent fasting with calorie deficit last year. Matching working out and being active as much as possible. YES. I really lost a tons of weight. Pumayat ako ng sobra. However, it created side effects sakin. I BINGE. Para bang nag auto pilot ako whenever kakain ako, nakakaubos ako ng sobrang daming pagkain ng di ko namamalayan. Saka na ako titigil kapag sobrang puno na ng tyan ko. Tapos maguiguilty ako at hindi na naman kakain. WHEN I TRIED FIXING MY EATING PATTERNS. Tipong kumain ako ng paunti-unti, tatlong beses sa isang araw. My weight fluctuated and increases. Dumoble ang timbang ko kesa sa timbang ko dati. WATER RETENTION NA PALA YUNG NARARANASAN KO. Sobrang taba ko non at ang bigat sa katawan. I took a little sacrifice. Kumain ako INTUITIVELY. Tipong nakikinig ako sa katawan ko kung kelan ako gutom at busog. Syempre, I faced the consequences of gaining weight. NGAYON, UNTI UNTI NANG BUMABABA ANG TIMBANG KO. I AM BEING ACTIVE, HAPPY AND I LEARN TO ACCEPT MY BODY. WE ARE ALL BUILT DIFFERENT. YOUR GENETICS ARE NOT LIKE THE OTHER PEOPLE'S GENETICS. STOP THE COMPARISON. Thank you.

Days 3 ko ngayun kahit diko pa nakikita resulta sa katawan ko push padin ako sa pag balance sa mga kinakain ko. Dating 3 beses ako kumain ngayun 1 nalang. Para sakin ha kasi ngayun sanay nako na di kumain ng 3 beses. Tuwing maga iinom ako ng warm water tapos kakain ako ng 3 boiled egg tapos green tea. Pero minsan oat ang kinakain ko. Sa gabi naman oat meal tapos green tea na ulet. Dahil nasanay nako sa ganito. Samahan din ng exercise :) trust yourself eka nga.

Hindi po totoo na kapag nag fasting ka is either weight loss or gain weight. Based sa experience ko after 3mos bumaba ang timbang ko ng 8kilos. Weight loss lang yan and not gain weight kasi masasanay na yung tyan mo na kaunti na ang kinakain,nag aadjust yung capacity ng tyan. Sasakit na ang tyan kapag naparami ang kinain,at kahit konti lang ang food intake mo feeling mo busog na busog ka na. Kaya,mali yung gain ng weight sa fasting dahil magki crave daw sa food,kahit mag craved ka ng food hindi na kaya ng tiyan mo.

I do OMAD, 17y/o ako, then I do 1 hour of strength training, kaso kettlebell lang gamit ko pero goods na, from 72.87-67.50 ako, thou mukha naman akong payat, gusto ko rin maging lean and fit, may mga bibil ako sa gilid ng tyan ko before, ngayon lumiliit na

Naging epektibo din to sa akin. Ang ginawa ko 20:4. Ibig sabihin 4 hours lang ako kakain, tapos 20 hours tubig lang. I lost 12 kgs. in more than 2 months lang. Grabe, pero mahirap talaga. Tyagaan lang talaga.

Super effective po ang IF jan po ako pumayat from 86-68 kg in just 8months po. Pero syempre healthy food din po ang kailangan kainin at totoo un pakonti konti lang. Pag nagutom uminom nalang ng madaming tubig hehe. Ngayon nakakaya ko na mag 1 meal a day😁
