Race is definitely a social construct. That is absolutely true. It really wasn’t a big deal until some books popularized the idea and divided people into groups based on skin colour and etc.

Hmm... Thanks for sharing. I moved out of my country and I found that it was difficult to grapple with all these feelings and some attitudes. 😅. Sometimes, you wonder about it all. It's so difficult to process, and I have simply pushed any hate aimed at me away and decided to embrace and share God's joy. Sometimes, it's tough, really tough to wrap your head around our perceived being less. Hopefully, still on this earth, our kids get better. I don't want them to grapple with such intense feelings or unspeakable 😅 words about their ethnicity.

I’m sorry that I didn’t catch your names so please forgive me for using husband and wife as I address each of you. Husband, I totally agree with you that race is a construct that is used by the devil to divide us. We can know this is true because if you were to peel us we all have the same muscle, organs, bones and whatever makes us human beings made in the image of God. Wife, I know that struggle of when things happen that has to do with race but I agree taking to the Lord should be our first response. I hope this encourages you to know that Jesus can and does empathizes with us as he experienced injustice as he walked on this earth. He is the only one who can. So keep going to the one who can hold you in your struggle and give you peace. Again thank you for such an insightful video. I hope to be in a marriage such as yours whether it be interracial or not.
