I'm happy things did not turn out for the worse in court for Gene. There are some crimes that require incarceration but I'm not a proponent of jailing people for every slight infraction even if on probation. Gene has some good qualities but also like many of us some character flaws too. So, I acknowledge he has left behind some victims in his crimes and they know him by those flaws of his. Evil results from our sins. Sin a lesser good x degrees from what is proper and ideal, what is right. Evil being the effects and affects that are destructive and cause sufferings, from tornados to home invasions. That was my preface to this. I can and do appreciate Gene's loyalty to his friend Hootie by defending him in this interview. But Hootie has been high on camera, a downer like heroin or some opioid. I have worked 2 physically laborious jobs in the past--albeit I was in my 20s then--and I never looked and cognitively functioned like that. Now, on the off chance I am wrong, Hootie for the sake of his health might consider giving up 1 of those jobs if his current financial life can afford that. But I'm thinking my conclusion that Hootie was high was correct.

Lee the biggest mistake John Gotti did was,not taking gravano out when John realised that gravano was killing for greed, that’s my opinion on Gotti’s biggest mistake, if he had taken gravano as you well know things might’ve been different, gravano was making people his business partner and then whacking them and towards the end John realised it was down to greed, he should’ve took gravano out but he didn’t, and we all know what that cost him.

Honestly i like the new Gene, not sure if it was because of how you interviewed him or he respects you but even the way he speaks now seems more sincere and real not a character still trying to play a roll…i liked genes stories but the way he is in this interview just elevated him in my opinion
