Pelego aka Pel is the Creative and Artistic Director for Aston Performing Arts Academy (APAA). As the Artistic Director, for the past 15 years, Pel has been responsible for the overall development of APAA’s students and Development Managers whilst strategically moving the organisation forward. What’s more, Pel is an ‘Assistant Head Teacher’ within a thriving inner-city primary school in Birmingham, England. Pel has been teaching for the past eleven years and is a huge advocate for education always seeking ways to maximize educational opportunities. One of Pel’s biggest passions is inclusion, diversity and equity within education. Over the years, Pel has worked (directly and indirectly) with over 15,000 young people with no signs of stopping any time soon.
