After watching episode 2 , I realized Lestat and Armand have something in common: they both stalk Louis. Did anyone else notice how Armand's expression changes as the story is being told about how they met? When he embraces Louis's hand, he quickly looks up at Daniel and then immediately looks down at the floor, almost as if he's sad or lying. The Alice attack on Daniel seemed out of character for Louis. Did Armand make him do this ? I was surprised Armand didn’t stop him like he did when he asked about Claudia’s assault.

Agreed. I think Armand stripped Louis of his New Orleans/Southern soul in an attempt to make him more sophisticated - an acceptable European gentleman. He talked about his walk and his clothes before they met…saying it was very “American.”

Now this may be an acknowledgment of the great special effects team or possibly the makeup department but I appreciate how each vampire's eye color varies with ethnicity and is DIFFERENT to compliment their skin tone. It's an ever so subtle choice but the impact is perfection. We have all seen the "uniform eye" look of vamps once they leave humanity behind in so many films: *All the eyes are Halloween Express-ish type* But I love in this iteration of vampires, they are crystal blues, amber gold, sea foam grey, slate etc. for olive, cinnamon, alabaster, mocha skins❤❤ truly appreciate this attention to detail. ✔

They've gotten much better from season 1. Their nails have gotten better since last season too...I remember last season I caught a few scenes where their nails had popped off on a few fingers. 😂

Yes ma'am!! Hes married with a little girl!!! The way I cried lonely tears when Lestat came in with that blow out looking like Brad Pitt in the original movie and read that letter!!!!!! I know he's toxic but dang it that was beautiful!!! 😂 Im sitting over here single and Louis got 2 falling in love at first freaking sight!!!!!!! Lestat come save him!!! I need a real epic fight for Louis' love!!!!!!!

The candy corn pajamas....🤭🤭🤭 These vampires are too beautiful and too bold for their own good. I guess I would do the same if I was gorgeous and immortal, but they play too much yet takes nothing seriously. Armon is truly making me itch, I can't wait for the meet up between him and Lestat with his roller set. Chile....👀🍵💅

I crack up throughout this video. You forgot the most important thing that Armand told Louie. " Never inquiry about Lestat again " he was very stern. Louie is a vampire and Armand is blocking his thoughts. New Orleans is gone and he is trying to get back to his past.

SPOILER ALERT ‼️ When Daniel/ Louis/ Armand are going at it, Louise invading his thoughts of Alice, Armand invading his mind about taking his dad‘s dirty magazines …when Daniel finally tells Louis that Alice said no to the proposal, notice Armand face. He seems to soften up, even says something kind to Daniel…that Alice “wanted to say yes”, but did not trust him. Now peep this: there’s a theory going around that Alice is really Armand! In the books, Armand and Daniel were lovers for many, many years. If you put that into perspective with the way Armand responded…? Grrrrrlllll!!!

Hello. Hope your recovery continues to go well. Thank you for jumping on to give your hilarious take on episode 2. (Louis needs to stop wasting food 😂). I am enjoying the story development. I am fascinated with Armand...how he disguised all last season that he and Daniel had met before. The cast is phenomenal, its just such a surprise that someone who seemed to be a servant turns out to be an ancient vampire. Armand has made a believable transition from servant Rashid to a rather debonaire vampire. I am skeptical that Louis and Claudia can keep their minds closed without any slip ups. Really Louis. All the performers are bringing these characters to life...Santiago calming down his victim to give her a sweet death then leave her to be ravaged, Lestat promising to be on the other aide of the veil up against Louis' longing (beautiful and haunting) and Claudia finally coming out of her melancholy. But we know it wont end well, Lestat did warn them that this coven was a company of monsters. I am ready for the next episode. As a fan I want all the seasons...this show is great.

Thank-you for another great video. I agree about Claudia having to carry around Louis because he's still dragg'n his ass, being so traumatized by lestat's horrible abuse. Plus, Claudia has been AMAZING through and through, especially regarding ALL of what she's experienced. What a glorious actor, (Delainey Hayles) she knows her stuff!

Lol Re: The pigeon: They’re not supposed to keep feeding once the victim is dead, but that rule is sus in this show because Claudia caught a soldier and threw his heart at Louis and then she kept feeding on the soldier. Plot holes.

I was marinated in the Chicago Black Catholic brand of sauce, and it used to bug me when people said I don't "sound Chicago". In the past, I've even lapsed into "sounding Chicago" because of who's around, just so I could never be accused of coming across so "continental", as Louis does. But that sort of pretending is just as bad for us, Sis, as Louis at the poker table in S1 Ep1 trying to shuck and sound corn pone for the white men who don't think he's that smart. I'm old like Louis now, so too done with playacting. We're cultured and sound it and don't need to be in the closet with it. P.S. Fun fact: The muscled, oiled up sax player in The Lost Boys was already popular with Tina Turner fans before the movie because he was the star of her band!
