Welcome back! Ole girl had the vampire depression from all that low quality blood. She was trying to make other vampires for company, and it wasn't working out. When she said all of that to Claudia about what they were going to do together when they get to America and then threw herself in the fire! I was like, WTF?! Someone said the taste of Claudia's blood gave her back her ability to see the future and she was telling Claudia the future she saw, but she also saw what was going to happen to Claudia.

7:22 the bird flying out of lestat throat is a genius insert when you think about Paul in season 1 talking about how the birds are speaking to him. In the entirety of season 2 louis basically shows signs of schizophrenia daniel even mentions it later on. There's a history of mental Illness in his family

😂 Lestat's hair looking like a roller set! I didn't understand the bird coming out of Lestat's neck either. In the interviews, the actors explained that in this season, we see Louis and Armand's version of Lestat. Lestat seems to be mimicking Louis because in this episode, he is a figment of Louis' imagination. Armand is killing it! I like his banter with Daniel. Agree, Louis' monologue was touching.

I watched “Truman vs Swans” and I refused to watch “AHS” but I’m really looking forward to another season of AJLT with your reviews. About the ending: I think Lestat shows up as guilt, because Louie is now telling Claudia everything that Lestat was always telling him about being committed together forever and Louie isn’t even sure if it’s true because look what they did to Lestat.

The Old Lady was an ancient vampire. They tend to go crazy as they age. Louis is 70yrs old. Lestat 180 yrs old and Claudia is 39.

Listen! From jump I've been telling people Louis is a liar by the way he was telling his story. Whether he lying because Armand is fucking with his mind or he just can't handle the truth of what really happened... I don't know. That I do scene had me dying too! "Did Lestat have you?" They're ALL liars. That's why the whole theme is "memory is a monster". They're all telling this story, but from their own memories, their own perceptions and points of view. They all have things they want to believe, things they want/need to be true. They all have things they can't face or don't want to, things they can't accept. And they all have their own motives. Literally not a single one of them is even capable of retelling the tale of their lives with 100% fact. People like to say 'Louis this, Louis that' just wait till you get Armand telling it. Wait till we get Lestats. And it's already been proven that Claudia directly lies too... they ALL lie 🤷🏽‍♀️

@@RowensARTstudio Fr people really heard "unreliable narrator" and flew straight to "lying hypocrite". The cast actually addressed this recently lol and clarified that it's not that it's not necessarily lying as much as it's about each characters pov/experience.

@lkcullen1918 Exactly. They've been showing us pretty directly, since the 1st season. They've also been implying it, as well as saying it and talking about it outright. Yet people still water everything down to "Louis' a liar". Some people have absolutely no idea what complex trauma, does to a person's mind. What abuse does, what starvation and malnutrition does. What time itself does. Some people can't even correctly tell you what they did two days ago. Yet he's somehow suppose to remember if it was raining or not, on a specific night over 130yrs ago. And if he doesn't he's lying and that's all there is to it. No, just no... and that's not even getting to whatever Armand is doing or has done to him, his memories and his mind.

While subconsciously hallucinating about the lestat sitting next to her.😩 I actually agree with you I think he is projecting himself telepathically to Louis

He can't actually do that, because Louis is Lestats 'child'. He can't mess with his mind like that. And Louis wasn't lying there. He's just desperately trying to convince himself that she's enough, that it's just him & her. Louis is just barely hanging onto sanity, he's trying to hold onto stability so he's trying his best. He's not actively intentionally lying

I don’t know why Daniel hates Armand so much - he saved his life all those years ago when Louis lost control and tried to drain him. I also think Armand is controlling Louis’ mind a bit to save him from his survivors guilt and make him less likely to walk into the sun. He already mentioned that publishing the autobiography would be a suicide story..

I don't know maybe I'm tripping but they clearly have like sexual tension. Even when he first saw Armond pretending to be Rasheed he was hyper fixated on him. It's clear that Armand is jealous of the connection between Louis and Daniel they have a very familiar relationship almost like a BFF / family. Even though Daniel is human he seems to be the only one trying to fight for Louis sanity

I feel like Daniel hates everybody, but he HATES Armand. I think he can clock the control that Armand has over Louis and it’s getting in the way of the interview.
