Elder Mengsreng Hong just finished his mission in Cambodia-his homeland-five weeks ago. Previous to joining this church, he was already actively preaching about Jesus Christ as a Christian. I remember at one point thinking, "Our investigator is having more baptisms than we are!" He was diligently bringing people to receive baptism with the light and knowledge that he had. Elder Hong always had a lot on his plate. He had a lot of demands upon his time. Yet, he told us "The Spirit is telling me to listen to you." Elder Hong later was baptized, received the priesthood, and served a full-time mission in Cambodia during which he taught the gospel to and baptized many people. He continues to be a loving and supportive friend to me, and to many others. He always has his candle of faith burning brightly for those around him.
