I am going to try to sell sets of the hollow rounds as Swedish fire logs or chimney fire logs for parties to my customers. So I bought a bunch of hollow logs!

Nice way to send camp fire wood.. I do something similar. All 16inch and small pieces are reserved for wood stoves. Over 17inches are fireplaces and camp fires.. So far no one is complaining..
@InTheWoodyard3 жыл бұрын
I agree, the campfire people seem to like a little bigger pieces and the fireplace folks DO NOT want big pieces mainly because of their fireplace width not allowing big ones. Later dude!

@@InTheWoodyard Worst experience with a hollow basswood: Started cutting into it and the saw started catching and jumping, then the STINK! A raccoon had died in the tree and I cut right through it... I swear I smelled it for a week. LOL

You need a small dump trailer,easier for emptying.🙋♀️🍀👍

You are right! I do have one but for just a face cord it is nice to not have to hook up and drag the trailer around and to take home with me after the delivery by my house, so I sometimes just us the truck.
