ENTJ NEXT

I'm an INTJ raising an ENTP child. 1 of 6 children. She's hilarious and a lot of fun.

We almost have this at home: ENTJ dad & ENTP mum. 2 ENFP & ESFP daughters. It's wild. And we, the daughters, cry a lot.

My family almost has something like this too. ENTJ mom and ENTP dad, and my sister is an ENFJ. She frequently requests “therapy sessions” where she makes ENTP dad use all his Fe to give her emotional/social advice and comfort (I’m an INTP so I wouldn’t be much help either)

My late father was an INTP who could pass for ENTP at times, and my mother is an INTJ. My sister and I are definitely not feelers though. We actually take after our parents fairly strongly personality-wise.

I am a big board gamer and my friends say playing with me is like gaming with Michael Corleone.

It's so funny because as ENFP, I see the INTJ exactly like the ENTJ does, but it triggers my nurturing instincts. Which is funny cause rarely anything does. They do have tunnel vision, but mostly they're fun and need to be taken care of.

@@TheFren I see ENTJs more of a world dominating type since they are more attuned to guiding people. INTJs aren't so much like that as much as "Leave me alone. I want to complete my projects that will make the world and my comfort zone a little more optimized place."

By all means, but it's worth pointing out that the "Best of INTJ" is, ipso facto, the best of any type's "best of" reel. A "best of" for any other type could only be second-best, at best. ...And I'm an INTJ, myself, so you know I'm unbiased and correct. About everything.

I never encounter enough of your kind and I suspect its because you INTPs are better hiders than us.

I have an istj auditor at my work and get monthly emails with all yhe minutia i missed 😅

We filter out all unimportant details and forget them -- unless they belong to some arcane area of private interest, in which case we remember them because they are important -- to us. We don't want to clutter our minds with irrelevant or unimportant information that we don't care about. Useless details are like cholesterol clogging the arteries of our mind. Clear it out!

I'm reminded of a guy I use to know. ISTJ, more than once he had pop-quizzed me during conversations to see what details I retained or to just get more detailed explanations of things that I didn't find necessary. I absolutely loathed it.

Oh...I feel you. It is just like wearing a mask or I became two people. Sometime I enjoy the feeling of being another me and just feel like this is just a deal, I am doing this for a purpose or just manipulating but it get annoying in long term and feeling like what if I became one of them just drive me crazy😅

As an INTJ, I find INFJs are scary Well u see, assessing emotion aren't our best thing, as many of us would prone to fails miserably despite all of the effort and energy that being spend And y'all could just easily poke where the most hurt intentionaly, while most of the time I hurt anybody wasn't even intentional (yet when I really wanna hurt someone "legally" I just couldn't lmao) This might put us in a tough situation where we should keep our emotions in check every time we get into society or we might get slander And getting ":D" smiley face while being slander just make it worse.. I'm not saying that INFJs are bad tho It's just how I would find XXFJ type of people r scary.. Sorry if I came off as offensive.. I assure u that I'm not.. (Also English isn't my first language, pardon the grammarly mistakes)

@@iwa2028 No worries, it didn't come as offensive, it is your expression. Of course, everything depends on our experiences and interaction with the other types. Usually the infjs I know(not to talk about everyone) will intentionally hurt someone only if they hurt(perhaps not even them) but people around. Or yes, actually, if they feel hurt. If we truly think someone is inconsiderate, hurting people on purpose and goes against fairness and justice(can be even the GOD complex that I have mentioned, since "I am superior" comes out often), that is the time when we have an urge to hurt by telling usually the "truths" if we think that person should hear(the things they ofc don't wanna hear about themselves or wanna suppres it a lot). Otherwise, INFJs who poke emotional wounds out of boredom, I am not even sure they are INFJs, or at least they need to solve those wounds themselves. People should learn from each others and try to grow. Therefore, let's say, if I can understand people and talk with INFJ who also can do that, I just can have pleasant, supportive conversation, but feel no growth.

I'm usually taken back by the bluntness of INTJs but also find it funny so my Fe and Fi get confused of being offended and amused at the same time and I don't know how to react.

I have a friend who is an INFJ. We get on well at the I, N, J level and I have high levels of Fi as well. She's a psychologist, I have a major in psychology. We are both involved in meditation, etc. But I am also autistic, so I find she is into non-verbal communication which loses me completely. I can see that she is doing it, but it is like she is speaking a foreign language. I don't know what those looks mean. So communication can be hitor miss -- "hit" if it is verbal, explicit, but "miss" if it relies on non-verbal cues or implicit cues.

As an INTJ, I love my INTP and ENTP friends.. They don't give me social pressure like any other type I knew, so I could always feel at ease and being my most true self whenever we're hanging out..

@@iwa2028 us INTPs are really good at not creating social pressure, we just tend to observe and then chameleon into whatever the situation needs. INTJ’s always make thought provoking conversation partners.

An ENFP wrote "dreaming of meeting my future INTJ husband... sigh..." and I genuinely asked if ENFPs actually seek out INTJs. We are the biggest sticks in the mud among the types and the most romantically difficult. The ENFP wrote back: "we admire the stern focus and sense of stability INTJs bring, and as INTJs tend to build high defenses to letting people close to them, we absolutely Love scratching away at those defenses in the hopes on making them crack a smile." This answer made ridiculously good sense to me and I imagine that since ENFPs are your Extroverted side of your coin, the reason expressed above may be extremely similar to your interests.
