Welcome to the first run of my newly rebuilt Tamiya CC-01. It was originally a Landfreeder but I purchased the Tamiya Land Rover Defender D90 Body Kit and converted it to a Camel Trophy look-alike with a few accessories and a new set of cheap wheels and tyres.
So my wife and I took it to a local park (Leasowes, in Halesowen, West midlands) and we were amazed by the beautiful afternoon Autumn sunlight. We think it looks beautiful with the light streaming through the trees. I had another (rare) attempt at driving and filming at the same time, so please forgive some of the shaky camera and dodgy angles! Louise also took on the camera for the first time ever and filmed one of the clips! Thanks, Lou! :))
The truck is a work in progress, with more detailing to come in the form of a driver and interior and a set of spotlights for the roof. All 8 lights will be fitted with LEDs.
Thanks for watching, take care and see you soon!
