How to create Safe, Positive, and Restorative Schools by first understanding why do kids misbehave and why hasn’t our traditional discipline system worked? I will offer a solution to schools that will integrate two of the most widely used school climate and behavior programs in the world: Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) & Restorative Practices. On their own, each of these programs shapes school culture and in unison, they create long-lasting sustainable school transformation.

Thank you this information as many schools are grappling with implementing RP and PBIS. Just a reminder that nor PBIS or RP are programs. They are frameworks and philosophies that guide how we interact with one another. It first takes a mindset change in how we view and do discipline with children. Overall, important information.

This video is dense in the information on the "why" for RTI and PBIS in a easy, clear manner. I have seen all the information in different trainings and formats, but this presentation puts it together in a powerful way and builds the "why" in a compelling maner and easy to understand! I will show this video to our management team to reframe our work. Thank you
