It's universal. He wrote it for fellow musicians, but anyone who's had to struggle day by day to bring their dream to reality will feel this song *deeply.* And he was literally bringing the culmination of his own dreams into being, singing it on that stage at KSPO Dome in front of his brothers and dongsaengs and ARMY. At 3:10 when he couldn't get the words out, K-ARMY was chanting "Da gwaenchanajil geoya"-- "It's going to be okay," which was when I TOTALLY lost it. It's a comforting mantra when he sings it, and to hear ARMY singing it back strong *to him* when he was overcome.... 💜💜💜ARMY and BTS. There is truly no other fandom/artist relationship like this one in the world. And that performance was legendary.

I wish we had some view of Hobi, Jin and Namjoon's reactions seeing their strong brother breaking on stage. I cried seeing Yoongi cry. I cried again seeing the military announcement soon after the concert. It must all have hit Yoongi at that moment: 13 years with his BTS brothers, 10 years on the stage, his solo accomplishments, his love for ARMYs - all being put on hold for military service.

This was just raw emotion on display and as much as I want to give him a hug , he needed to let it all out, all his hard work has paid off. He gave me goosebumps for real. Im so proud of him .

He cried a lot during snooze, dear my friend and amygdala. Those songs are so important and special to him. I cant imagine how hard it was for him to sing them. I've seen some people reacting to this just to get some likes and views and that makes me so mad (not talking about you) cause this was a really emotional moment for him and armys.

Suga was reminded of how they didn’t have any mentors to give them advice or support them. In this song he is telling his juniors he is there for them he also is giving life lessons that all of use can use. I love this song and yes when he broke down I was in tears. My family and I was in Chicago and my daughter saw you in H market and was afraid to speak. Suga is my bias because he has been through so much but he overcame his demons. Enjoyed your reaction 💜

I love that Snooze for the same reason as you guys. I’m a failed artist of 62, working fulltime, which feels like I’m wasting my time. Whenever I paint I get a lot of love and praise. But other than that, it’s been a battlefield all my life. So I wished I had had Snooze when I was young and struggling. Now that I am old and struggling it is my lifeline. Thanks Yoongi, love you.

Suga has passion and he was in the zone an I’m sure his past 13 years, the guys in stands and his mentor who played piano in this song all flashed in his mind as he sang!! He’s real and such a visual of the heart meeting the mind it was a true artist showing his love for the art!! I cried when I I saw this in his concert! RESPECT!!! 💜✊🏽💜

Dear Friend also touched me..LIFE CHOICES..he cried finally 13+ yr ago his friend took the wrong path of drugs..he tried to get YOONGI to do drugs but Yoongi had to walk away. I’m sure YOONGI misses him & what if things were different.. 😭🫶🏼❤️🇺🇸🙋🏻‍♀️

Yoongi wrote Snooze for people/juniors who hav passion and yet to make it or facing challenges just like he did wen he was young...he wants to giv them some assurance...something he dint get wen he needed it wen he was young. He doesnt want the next gen etc to struggle lik he did. He cant b there personally available to listen to everyones struggles but i believe he hopes this people will listen to this song and feel lik this is what yoongi would hav said to me. Thank you for sharing your story, that song is so special to me too that’s why I will have a Tattoo of a Lotus Flower to signify the emotions I felt when I first heard the song. I was one of the concert goers who bawled my eyes too, and the last concert made me cry again for so many reasons with the same thought as yours. The Lotus Flower is submerged in mud with water, but it emerges as a pure and clean beautiful bloom that faces the sun. That represents how we have to live our lives, that even though it is murky, something beautiful is going to come out if we just stayed and pursued our dreams. Dream!

What a beautiful video and is true i cried so mush yesterday my heart just broken to pieces was so hurtful tho watch Suga breaken down so hurtful for him he is the best composer his lyrics all mean so much and they call him cold heart the 1 never hurt any friends if he sees that he sees are interfering 1he does take a step back he done that 1 1a1nd now a1g1a1in with Jimin and RM. Again broke my heart Suga never deserve that two men they always h1ave a black heart ne ver call them again angel they are not I will never forget the way Suga was hurt and and they new what .Jimin meant to Suga I can imagine how he feeling today we saw. I freaking love Suga so much! Him being vulnerable and showing emotion that too on stage with his brother's there was so heartbreaking but so beautiful and so powerful. I can't even begin to imagine what he must've been feeling but what I can say is that I am so so so proud of him. This song is beautiful, his album is beautiful. He made me cry and I'm sure he made everyone in the crowd cry too. I can't wait to have them all back in 2025 and performing as 7🥺💜

Remember that this tour and this album is his catharsis to close his cycle of pain, sadness and anger, many things go through his mind that fill his heart, and at the same time he is saying goodbye and he knows that his return is not certain. KING SUGA has always been the most sensitive of all the members, it just couldn't be the pain he felt, but now we see this wonderful man, full of love. 😍😍😍😍💜

Like at every turn on this crazy ride of friendship we've had, you have been a beacon of hope for everyone around you including myself! You be smashing goals and bringing people together constantly. Dude straight up I am so thankful and proud to have you in my life. It just wouldn't even be the same without you. It was the end of his tour and the last three songs were so emotional it was no wonder he found it so overwhelming. Thinking of Ryuichi Sakamoto must have added to his distress. ARMY did what they do best and sang for him and I’m sure he could feel the love we all feel for him. Woo-sungs delicate vocals all added to the emotion He was fine by the time he did his Live.

Honestly after listening to the whole album between snooze and amygdala are those emotional songs. I literally cried my eyes out. Seeing him up there surrounded by people who love and care about him was a lot. Then his brothers RM, Jin and J-Hope were there. It’s very rare you see this man cry but when he does it touches me. I felt he left everything that he had left in him on that stage. I’m glad army was there to tell him it’s okay. They’ll there no matter what and sing along for him.

Suga is exceptional and legendary. My heart broke during the concert, especially when he lost it. He knew he was going into the military after this final concert and he so emotional because he knew it was goodbye to all of us for now! Then the next day his enlistment was officially announced. While my heart is broken, I will anxiously await his and all members return to us. All of us Army will be waiting and will support you all always! Much love to you Suga!❤💜

He wrote that song for the younger artists, saying he will always be there for them if they needed help or a friend, because he and the rest of tje members never have that when they were struggling until when they reached the peak, because they do not know anyone who has ever been to that kind of fame they're having. Now they know a lot of kpop idols younger than they are, struggling and working as hard as they did, Suga offered them his hand, telling them they can go to him, they can count on him applauding them in their success. And that it is okay to rest for a while, but never giving up on their dreams.

Thank you for this reaction, John and thanks also for sharing your feelings and personal experience that makes this song resonate for you. I have listened and watched mv's of this song; it's my favourite Yoongi song and really touched me deeply because after all the trials and tribulations he went through alongside his BTS brothers, he now turns around and gives encouragement and hope to those coming after them. Not just through this song, Suchwita provided a platform for the younger groups to promote themselves and BTS have been super-supportive to their younger groups. I suppose several things just came together for Yoongi - the fact that the piano accompaniment to Snooze was by his idol Ryuichi Sakamoto (who died this year); he had his brothers at his last show for a while; RM sang his unreleased song that night; knowing that he would be announcing his enlistment soon after ; and just feeling the emotions of his last songs and closing the door on this particular chapter. In Suchwita Yoongi described the relationship between BTS and ARMY as a partnership and there is no clearer demonstration than ARMY singing the song when Yoongi was too overcome. No wonder people were bawling their eyes out.

No one has sacrificed more than Suga! He was kicked out of his home for refusing to not follow music. His parents took him to a doctor to see why he was so different. Even he admitted he was not normal but didn't understand himself. He sacrificed daily and kept going. Only now is he settling into his true self. You may not like his music, but his character and work ethic cannot be denied.

Music and the arts sometimes save lives. Or at least encourage and make a difference. Some kids may struggle with academics but may be gifted in music or art. I wish children could be exposed to it earlier in elementary schools. I know that takes money. But I have seen first hand how art helped a young girl gain her confidence and it was a beautiful thing.

When I watched Road to D-day, it was the first time I’d heard this song. I bawled my eyes out. As somebody who’s been made fun of for wanting to be a singer and told that it’s unrealistic due to “sucking at singing,” I’ve been told abusive things by my own parent and it’s worsened my anxiety and self-esteem. This song makes me feel like Yoongi’s hugging me and people like me. His struggles with anxiety and depression remind me that I’m important and that I’m not alone. I can survive the suffocating thoughts and self-criticism. This is why Yoongi and the other members are my biggest role models. Sorry for the long comment, but I needed to say that. Everybody, truly, you’re never alone. 💜

bts suga's encore concerts -- the last set of three concerts this august -- was very meaningful for him and bts fans, as he would be leaving to do his military service. yet even if the remaining bts members head off for their military service, their ultimate goal is to reunite and perform again together as one. interestingly, the first letters of the duets sung by suga with his guest-members spelled out B-T-S: "Burn it" for the jungkook duet; "Tony montana" for the jimin duet; and "Strange" for the rm duet. and then suga took the opportunity in the last concert to reveal the location of his "7" tattoo. now that's subtle messaging that comes across loud and clear!

Yup, as was said, the weight of this final show before his 2-year service hiatus got to him, not to mention the weight of enlisting looming there on the horizon, where all his musical activities will pretty much be suspended, unless the military decides to have him perform a little bit on some occasions during service. It was his final show, memories filled of a multitude of shows for a decade. This is better for all 7 of them, as this will make them stronger, as they have already faced many challenges & obstacles for a decade Thus, the fictional military concept that is BTS will now become real military. Possibly the only music band in history that will be both fictional & non-fictional military. And will now become part of 2 different armies, not just one as before. BTS now Become The Soldiers. And when we tell BTS "Thank you for your service", it now means both as humanitarians & as defenders. :)

Maybe but suga tells a reasin why he broke down crying its on his weverse live he said his memories for 10 years as BTS artist flashes back on him specially the presence of his love ones BTS members, sunbaenims...he said also he is now sunbaenim to young generations now too....suga indeed overcome those trials which he face at difficult times...now he's freed managed to open that door even wave facing the ARMY'S goodbye, saying thank you....legend BTS BTS suga.
