I just got a pocket one from teenage engineering I think it's cool because it renders a tune so quickly, I think i think too much about it, helps me to let go a little bit. This device above, the OB-4 looks cool! A lot of bands have sets like that.

It's just confusing to anyone new to the product, and the whole point of marketing is to inform new people about something. @Godzilla Hårddisksson this is just yet another company pushing this further. This is part of why simple shit costs a fortune and doesn't last, because they know people will still buy it and others will defend it saying 'just don't buy it' while it still impacts things regardless, plus plenty of people do still buy it any way and that normalizes this behavior from more businesses.

Upon further investigation into the link I have learned this is literally just a 1200$ Bluetooth speaker and anyone buying this is absolutely bad with money. What kind of fool defends this? The name is bad. Off White is a dumb name if you make anything besides white products. They shouldn't be surprised that everyone is confused. Beyond that, it's a bad product that does what a product a tenth the cost could do. Plus, it's ugly and square and basic af looking for that price tag. Pocket Operators are neat, OP-1 is decent but horribly over priced, and the OP-Z not having a screen and everything yet still costing so much is also absurd. You can fill a home studio with nice gear for the price of one of their little 'professionally priced' toys.

@@The.One.True.B it's not a scam, there are plenty of other options with fair prices for you to buy. Its price comes from it being a design item. I'd say it's just pricy for being pricy. Some people are passionate about design or brands so they get hyped when they see a new product or collaboration. Some of them buy such products. They do it because they are rich or they even end up reselling them to earn money. Regardless of the reason, they shouldn't be called fools. In the end, they are responsible for their own money. Your concerns are legitimate, but I think you're missing the point by calling this a scam.
