@@Mikipedia what i would like is a box (like an a/v amp) take the 12 amps and speakers out and let me use my own speakers wirelessly or via powerlink, and taking the amps and speakers out would reduce the price quite a lot

@@sakaspuds But you can attach up to 16 speakers to this and they work with all their speakers going back to the mid 80's. This is basically an AV amp too for any of their active speakers.

@@Mikipedia i know you can already connected upto 8 speakers to the theatre, the decoder on its own would be a product that would appeal to a larger audience who already own beolab/beosound speakers or if it had preamp out anyone who already owns a home cinema/ or speakers wanting to upgrade

when you have B&O's DSP, no need for all that. Also, you don't have to worry about it anyways because its just plug and play

@@jumbocrunchh You do not understand... A soundbar is trying to emulate a normal speakers set up, albeit with various monitoring and DSP technologies. It is simply trying to be as good as a normal speaker setup while not being a proper speaker setup! It is a hack for a problem that people who can spend 6500 euro's on a speaker do not have!!!!! How hard is this to grasp?

@@Diggnuts Their DSP technologies work so it does what is is supposed to do, I do not see a problem. I am not sure why you are getting so angry at a nice product.

@@jumbocrunchh Does it work though? It consumes a lot of electronics to estimate the quality of a system that in a semi-ideal setting would cost a fraction of the unit. A soundbar is at best a patch. A sub-optimal solution where you can not employ proper speakers due to whatever reason. Anybody who can spend 6K+ on speakers probably has the means to have a room where a hack solution like a soundbar is not needed at all! So there is no need for that fancy DSP nonsense and the silicon wasted on that could have been used for stuff that is useful! A 6K+ ugly soundbar is a solution to a problem that does not exist.. It just is an eyesore underneath the TV.

@@Diggnuts It does work, its the future of wireless audio. When you have a pair of wireless bookshelfs for example, you have to worry about amps or receiver, just more money gone after a big speaker purchase. On top of that, you don't have to worry about all of the long, thick, wires. Clean setup. I would much rather have a sounder of this caliber than my 60lb bookshelf speakers that take up so much space, if I could get the same performance. IMO, B&O has some of the best DSP in the game, thats why their wireless products can compete with wired competitors. If you want to see an eye sore underneath a TV, look at Bose systems, ugly, all black, nothing appealing,
