Welcome to ChipNRat's Introduction to... series. This video is all about the basics of intersections and intersection design with a focus on Cities: Skylines. We cover the major definitions such as "road segment", "Traffic Controls" (controlled vs uncontrolled intersections), and Lane Design definitions. We discuss Traffic Circles, Roundabouts, Box Junctions, Michican Lefts, Superstreets, and how they interact with a city, traffic, and each other. Lastly we also talk about some of the advantages and disadvantages of each type.
In this video we are using Cities: Skylines with mods, however all of the designs can be made without mods.
