It might appear self evident how we humans interact in the world of objects, but this is exactly what Kant questions in his Critique of Pure Reason. For how do come to know the objective world? What does Kant mean when he claims that we need pure a priori intuitions to be abele to see the world in the first place, and that we need categories of the understanding to "think" objects? This and more will be discussed in this video.

Speaking from my "experience" you are good at condensing philosophical subjects into digestible format without misconstruing them which what usually happens in yt, would also like a vid on heidegger and deleuze.

Beautiful presentation… does the explication of categories and conditions for human knowledge presuppose an agent with basic analytic tools to conduct the analysis,ie Plato’s third man? Are all circles fatal? Is it turtles and wave functions all the way down?🐣

Is there any particular reason starting KANT after Lacan?
@eversbrothersproductions1476

That is a good question. The answer is that I wanted to read Kant for a long time, but I only got myself to start on his dense theory when I read that he could explain how the subject is able to think in the first place. Our goal all along is to reconstruct an argument that explains how we humans are what we are. And Lacan would be the last step of that journey since it explains the behaviour of subjects in the world. But Lacan does not give the scientific background as to how we got here and what aspects we need to become this subject. Also, I was reading Kant when I made the videos on Schopenhauer. Schopenhauer is a bit easier to understand than Kant. So in when I look at it now I think I would recommend reading Schopenhauer, than Kant and then Lacan. This gives a more complete picture 😄

I will go over all German Idealists, so I start with Kant, then to Fichte, Schelling and they all lead to the theory of Hegel. And then I will do some on Goethe. After that I will start with Heidegger! 😄 And then the whole story is complete.
