What can an upright do that an inverted can't do? Basically, why aren't all microscopes just inverted then?

The inverted usually have low na condensers and objectives. I love my Nikon TS100 for pond and other wet samples. It does work well for regular slides, too, but I only have up to 40x . The highest na is with my 20x apo objective at .75 . For that objective, I just invert the slides so cover glass is on the bottom.
