Hey PerFinEx, do you have a video about new homeowner for a rental apartment and the tax declaration of it following year? I wonder whether or not I can declare "lan transfer tax amount, notary fees, real estate agency fee" etc. 1 time payments while purchasing the apartment. The other costs like homeowners association contributions or bank interest payments etc. understood. Thank you.

TBH the Fire column is comparing 🍎 with 🍊 because the target income at 60 changes for each age group as you compute it from the gross income at that age.

Germans pay one of highest taxes and social contributions. German politicians throw money all over the world but not much on working german class. In USA there options like 401k and Roth IRA to save for retirement. But german government just want to tax the working class

When you work on something that only has the capacity to make you 5 dollars, it does not matter how much harder you work - the most you will make is 5 dollars.

People dont understand that the prices of things are never going back down. This inflation is deeper than we think. Those buying groceries are well aware that the real inflation is much over 10%. The increments dont match our income, yet certain investors still earn over $365,000 in stocks and assets. Wish I could accomplish that.

Very possible! especially at this moment. Profits can be made in many different ways, but such intricate transactions should only be handled by seasoned market professionals.

As an African living in Germany, they’re far better investment opportunities back home than in Germany. You just have to do your due diligence

I understand the calculation is more an illustration, but few points that I think would make the numbers more realistic 1- typically salary increase with age, so if someone is now bellow 25 and earn ~1800 after taxes some time later he will be in the second age group with much higher salary. so fixing the percent he invest on the initial salary is not realistic 2- the amount you need for early retirement again is some how calculated based on the initial age you start investing, which I don't think is relevant.

Can you share the source for the salary-per-age numbers? They seem quite low

S&P 500 is 12.68% over the last 10 years. MSCI World is 11.7% over the last 10 years. But keep in mind, past performance does not guarantee future results
