SCHD is my biggest holding. I have tenS of thousands of dollars in this ETF. It's the main pillar of my portfolio.

SCHD is a solid choice! I think have portfolio 50/50 woth VTI/VOO can be a really good choice for a lot of people

schd has been terrible lately. The dividend yield is nice but the total return has been awful. You’d be better off buying growth and tech stocks. If you still want a dividend etf, VIG is better than SCHD.

I like SCHD bc I gives me exposure to a lot of high value, but pricier stocks that I don’t necessarily want to buy individually

SCHD is fine. I own it. I still actively buy it. I drip it. I'm not as excited about it as I used to be, but that's only because so many other holdings did much better in 23. That being said, buying it is kinda like eating your broccoli. It might not taste the best, but it'll keep you running long after the sugar high wears off.

I just added it to my dividend portfolio just one share right now just added it along with O and VICI just started this new portfolio in middle of December and have 1 SCHD 20 O and 4 VICI

Very good long term choice, I would love to see these on shorter term riskier plays too like $ZIM & $SBLK. The real money is made on quick entry’s pre ex div date followed by swift exits before the company becomes unprofitable, u should just explain they ain’t the safe retirement plays like $KO & $SCHD
