In this episode, Mark learns two valuable lessons: 1.) He is, in fact, *very* vincible (for the umpteenth time) 2.) Be wary of who you trust. Also, Battle Beat demolished the heavy-hitters of the team with little to no effort. He is, most certainly, not a bitch.

I don't get why everyone was shocked that Titan took over, he literally said "Help me take out my boss, and you'll be helping a lot of people." Battle Beast didn't bitch out, he got bored. He knocked out everyone there with next to no effort, he had no reason to stick around.

Its the way the show presented his exit. As soon as the heroes were winning, he opened a portal, talked shit, and dipped out. It definitely looked like he was trying to make an exit and save face while talking shit.

@@solodolosolomon I don't know about that. Again he just took out three of the heros with no real effort. He clobbered Robot, and nearly killed Invincible, Black Samson, and Monster Girl. Two of which were the heavy hitters in the room. He left, and when he said this battle is beneath me, he was right.

@@InfamousTerry4 It's because 10/10 times a villain exits hurriedly in a superhero show they're trying to not get caught because they're scared of losing. Battle Beast's exit played out just like one of those escapes, and no one watching has a huge reason to think otherwise. Invincible was taken out BEFORE the new team got there, so for all they knew it was the villain's team effort that did him in. Then before Battle Beast exits we see the team finally work together and they beat all the other low level villains really easy with their teamwork. In context, Battle Beast rushing out the room as soon as the tide turns against the villains absolutely looks cowardly. He beat them all before they used their new teamwork and someone watching only the show has no reason to think he's anything better than the average super strength villains we've seen before aside from his skill which may not even register right away.

No, he couldn't have. Battle Beast's motivation isn't money. He came to this one battle because he was promised worthy foes. And even then, it wasn't enough for him, and he quit on his team. No way he would accept to be a regular bodyguard and/or go kill some random Chinese meth cooks.

I don't even think machine head paid Battlebeast money. All it would take is that there is worthy opponents here. Battlebeast could have killed all the heroes and villains in that room at the same time by himself. The guardians are lucky he had a code.

I was a little curious about how Battle Beast was so strong (as someone who's just watching the show), and I think that kind of comparison is so perfect yet so off base that it works perfectly without spoiling shit. I mean, even to a show only watcher, Battle Beast and Thanos are clearly really different types of characters, so it obviously refers to levels of threat, which is something you can basically piece together from the episode. Having that delivered by someone with more context is quite entertaining, don't listen to C Williams.

Your misconception that Battle Beast was a quote "little bitch" for leaving is the farthest thing from the truth. If he didn't get BORED, there wouldn't be anyone left alive. He's like if Zod or Doomsday showing up while Clark is just now training himself to be a hero as a teen.

Either endanger her and tell her the truth, or forget trying to have a relationship. There's a reason it's a life of sacrifice. If you guys liked the principal then you should watch the live action prequel series. It’s about the principal living in Chicago as a cop with his family as they deal with various matters. They have a nerdy neighbor who regularly irritates him and tries to date his daughter. It’s a classic!

Lame character. He's impossibly strong, so what? He doesn't even tie into the story yet. In this episode we saw only the most basic and stereotypical "big-bad looking for a challenge" characterization. It surprises me so many people still eat-up tropes like this. Maybe he has a cool story or interesting personality later on but as of now he's nothing more than a plot device meant to threaten the MC plot armor but only reinforced his plot armor by leaving him alive. Hopefully the show just forgets about him for a long time until it's believable our MC can challenge him. I don't want another HxH situation where every fight is basically filler until he grows strong enough to face his real enemy...

Yeah, Battle Beast wasn't scared at all. He just clapped the cheeks of the two strongest fighters in the room. He only fights those who can fight back and only actually kills those that he deems strong. It’s why he didn’t just straight up end the two or Samson and just left. He saw them all as too weak. BB is not like the Flaxan guy from episode 2. There's a good chance that, had he gone in, Nolan would’ve just been another body on the pile.

I think the ultimate goal was just to get rid of Machine Head. There was no way that Titan could have known Mark would get hurt that badly, and he probably didn't want it to happen, but like he said, some people have to come first.

I mean, Suraj has this channel to look over, watches multiple shows with multiple characters in them, I’m pretty sure he still has a girlfriend, has family like the rest of us. Maybe he forgets names. I don’t see it as a big deal and I don’t get why it bothers people. I’m watching this show and I remember all the characters and know everything that’s happening. But for others, it takes time for them to remember, especially with a busy life. So it doesn’t bother me, I’m sure he will learn them as they keep watching.

anyone else noticed that the clones aren't actually made out of burger meat? the meat is meant to provide the protein and energy necessary to properly carry out cell division, those cells ain't just gonna divide into a whole person without any protein and energy

You don't blow your superhero cover for a highschool romance. Unless you're advocating that some highschoolers who have been dating a few weeks should get married. Also, revealing his identity to the world would reveal his families secrets, so it's not just about Mark. Obviously Atom Eve doesn't care about having a secret identity. Her parents probably like the fame and she might enjoy the popularity, but her identity being public doesn't affect anyone else like Mark's does with potentially putting more exposure on his dad.

Actually He's easily in the Top 2. In the comics they nerfed him, by making him injure himself on purpose by ripping out his intestines and Thragg still barely won.

Reginald VelJohnson plays principle Winslow in this show, who was named Principle Winslow because Mark attends Reginald VelJohnson high school, which was named after the actor because the volumes of the comic are named after classic sitcoms, the first one being 'Family Matters'

Imagine if someone like Battle Beast decided to go after Amber. Do you think THIS SHOW would be one where all the family members get out okay? If Mark tells anyone, they're dead. The villains in this story do not fuck around.

Exactly. Episode 1 showed that even the strongest heroes in the world are not safe. What chance does a civilian have? The Image Comics world doesn't play games. Danger is extremely random and extremely violent, much more than DC/Marvel.

Technically Principal Winslow actor was a beat cop in the Die Hard series, he's not wrong lol and one of the villains that Machine Head paid off was the same villain Red Rush took down during his date scene in episode 1 And yes the kid in the soup kitchen is same kid who was with Martian Man in episode 1

Speaking of dirty food, my grandfather used to work in a bakery. I forgot why he did it, but he full-on ground a cockroach along with the coconut flesh using the coconut grinder and put into pan de coco (coconut bread), and the bakery owner never found out.

It's not to much respect, omniman can't beat and was scared to fight thragg, battle beast said fuck it I'm with the shits. No one is overextended it, he is a problem, he is strong, just everyone wants omniman like superman to be unbeatable. Lol
