They've said they've set up an efficient production pipeline to not have huge gaps between seasons anymore. Keep in mind that there was a halt to development between seasons 1 and 2 because the latter wasn't greenlit until after the former had aired. And the pandemic didn't help, either. I would assume one season every year from here on out for however long it goes.

When Kate died I thought it was stupid because "if i were kate I'd always just let my duplicates fight while I stayed safe" so i'm glad that's the way it actually turned out because it really wouldn't make sense otherwise.

That does make sense but at the same time, we first think 3 guardians died in that fight, then Rex turns out to be okay, then we get the reveals that everyone is fine and it just lessens that moment.

The webbing on Mark when he comes back from the agent spider universe was a callback from the marvel comic where Peter tries to come back with Mark but the portal cuts off the webbing. Mark actually met the avengers as well.

Just seeing the psychology of mark after he crossed the line was portrayed very well. Seeing the emotions he had to go through was well visualized especially when he's only still a young adult.

I’m not sure that Nolan’s last line dehumanizes him that much, in fact it does the opposite. You have to remember that he grew up for centuries unfamiliar with the idea of empathy. That’s why he left the planet in his final speech with mark in s1, he realized he was starting to feel and couldn’t cope with that. The last line here shows that he’s coming to terms with what it means to actually feel empathy. Don’t get me wrong, this doesn’t excuse his actions. But this proves that he’s understanding the concepts of empathy and remorse and that has changed him as a person.

That's kinda the sad point really. So caught up in the consequences of the multiverse, he wouldn't even bother to think that maybe this Mark is different. Angstrom has been so overwhelmed by the collective trauma that he absolutely cannot even pause to remember why he began this entire endeavor. It's sad

22:48 yes but the point is Nolan never meant that line at all. Nolan truly does care about his family. His whole character in season 1 is his conflict of what he feels he needs to do vs what he truly wants. Nolan wanted to live his life with his family and enjoyed being a hero on Earth but as soon as Mark got his powers he then felt like he needed to do his task as an agent of Viltrum. The entire first season everything terrible thing he does and says is him trying to convince himself that this is what he needs to do. He left Earth in tears, full of regret of what he did, destroying everything that he truly loved in thousands of years being alive. It’s literally stated in that scene that he is saddened and regretfully of the damage he’s done.

i'm gonna be brutally honest. this episode kinda didn't live up to the complete hype in my mind. yeah it was like the final episode in season 1 where everything big happens at the start and the rest is just everyone adjusting to that, but i would've loved a compilation at the end of the episode like we saw last season
