Holy crap, this episode officially convinced me that Invincible is JUST like The Boys in that it’s VERY different from the comics and is, so far, BETTER than the comics. Personally, I’d recommend everybody to just go ahead and read the comics first, enjoy the story, and be VERY happily surprised with how the show is being run!

They literally through everything they had at Omni Man and ....... nothing. Even the Immortal showing up which would have been a game changer in any other show just slowed him a down a bit. Omni Man is a force of nature.

So...Cecil never considered stitching Immortal's head back on? With all their advanced technology? Kinda an oversight I kinda feel bad for the Maulers, I mean if Sinclair's cyborgs can be used for failsafes surely the Maulers could find a spot to do some confidential community service... I'm glad I'm not the only one who felt Amber was a little out of line. I mean, she essentially gave him shit last episode for changing costumes and the episode before that for getting his stomach split open trying to remove a crime empire. If anything Amber's grievances with how Mark wouldn't confide in her could go vice versa in the fact that she could've noted that she knew and he didn't have to lie and then stress about lying and trying his damnedest to make time for her in between. but damn does nothing keep Nolan down for long, and this is just one long tease where we still don't find out why he did it, did you notice though that the color saturation changed in Nolan's scene, it got a lot less warmer in the intense scenes

I think a lot of people neglect that like this was MONTHS of Mark being constantly late and missing and breaking promises to Amber over and over again. Like it makes sense to go "Oh come on it's only been like 5 episodes and he told you his secret identity" but in the world the show takes place in it's been like 5 months. He made Amber worry constantly, he lied a ton, and then when she pushes him away because she's hurt he flies into her room and tries to act all smug thinking he can save the relationship by just saying he's Invincible. To be honest once William knew there was no reason to keep it hidden from Amber. I just dislike how reaction channels have been trying to paint Amber as the unreasonable one here.

I think Omniman actually LIKES Earth. He hasn't torched it like he did the transdimentional world in episode 2. So, without having read the comics, or any research on them, I'm guessing he was sent here to: 1) see if Viltrumites and humans can interbreed (yes, they can) 2) see if the resulting offspring can develop Viltrumite powers (also yes), 3) eliminate all serious opposition to the conquest & colonisation by the Viltrumites, possibly because 4) they're a dying race and are trying to remain extant and/or need footsoldiers in a losing war. As for why I think Nolan likes Earth... I think he was really hoping Mark didn't develop powers. If he hadn't, then he could have just stayed under cover and lived his life with his family in relative peace.
