Here is my grain of salt, sorry but I don't really know how to hide spoilers: Thaedus probably knows that Allen is going to come back stronger from a near-death experience, but he also knows he probably has to heal by himself and not be helped. But, he is not sure if he is going to survive without life support. So he knows that this is the best thing to do for Allen and for the Coalition, but he knows that he might not come back, so he apologizes in advance just in case.

Ya it happened in the comic in the exact same way but it is 3 male viltramite who beat him to death in the show we got to see 2 male viltramites an 1 female named Thula one of the strongest viltramites even stronger than Nolan because se his 5000 years old where as nolan is about 2000 years old and the older an viltramite gets the stronger they become

​@@NevTheDeranged Yea, I was definitely being facetious from the start. She's obviously an embodiment of the show writer's feminist views, and nothing like she was in the comics. Amber would be the last girl I would choose among the women in Invincible, much less in real life. Eve would have been much better for Mark. Amber is straight-up toxic and controlling. The "on the top" talk also represents how she wants the relationship: Her on top. How "baby" was said to her should be all that matters. As if Mark meant anything but affection from it... This is not how normal, well-adjusted couples/individuals behave. He's obviously tip-toeing over every interaction to gain her approval. It's just gross and unnatural. Not healthy couple behavior. I think Mark can figure out on his own how to be better. Amber would suck the life and motivation out of him in a real-life relationship. After all the trauma Mark's had to deal with, he needs support and understanding, and to feel what real normal-people life is like, not correction and control. It just signals that she doesn't really care about him and wants him more as a plaything or robot.

@mattvsmetaverse wow, ok. I don't think I agree with all that. Expressing a personal boundary is hardly toxic and controlling, that's just normal healthy communication. Wanting to be on top is just a preference expressed for this instance, for, in this case, a sensible reason- having sex with someone who could crush you into jelly if they lost control for a second is pretty fearless, and wanting to mitigate that possibility is just sane.
