This model is a camera mount arm that is designed to position a small action camera behind an FPV drone and remain out of sight (or at least not be very noticeable) to give a third-person-view perspective during flight.
It uses an M5 nut and screw (compatible with GoPro hardware) to hold the camera in the GoPro-style mounting tabs.
Print laying flat, on the side opposite the hexagon-shaped cutout (where the nut is captured).

Maybe drill a bunch of holes in that mount to lighten it up...🤔 Also, I've had pretty good luck with the HQ Prop 7x4x3 props. Probably a lot lighter and better balanced than those 8 blades. Cool video. I like seeing your experiments. Thanks for sharing your adventures. Happy flying amigo 🫡 🍻.

I love the scorpion tail idea, but there's a lot of jello. I'm into resin printing and that print looks amazing. With resin prints, you hollow out your part to a certain wall thickness inside the slicer (Chitubox), add internal supports if needed, and make a hole or two for the resin to escape. Otherwise you'll have uncured resin trapped in your print.

Mounting a 360 cam to the back would do that too.

Hey bro you do alot with 7" drones. Im doing a 7 inch build and i have a speedybee f7 v3 50 amp stack lying around. 50 amps enough of a esc for this build? I was going to run 2806.5 1300 kv motors...
@RCwithAdam1
@RCwithAdam1 Ай бұрын
Yeah 50amp should be plenty. Really depends on how aggressive the props and your flight style are.
