9:30 u knocked off a component by testing a component to left if that was soldered properly, but the one on right side is knocked off :P still tablet working. Dunno if you noticed that.

I don't know if you missed it but one of the missing components was just floating between the 2 caps, you should probably find the other floating components to make sure it's not going to short out something else right.

Excellent work sir. So i'm not sure what your repair cost for this work would be, but I'm assuming more than $100? So from the customer's perspective is it economical to get it repaired rather than buy a new or used one?

I have 2 practical questions: How many degree is the hot air in 2 situations: A) when You get the component out and in? is it the same temperature, And B) When You replace the plastic connector when You put in and out? Is it always the same? If I remembered You mention 286 Celsius to put it in, with the new connector? Correct or I make mistake?

I have an iPad Pro that would probably drive you nuts. You can plug it in and get power 100% of the time. You can plug it in and get Windows to detect it as a drive (photos) 90% of the time. But for something like 3uTools I have to plug it in anywhere from 10 to 30 times before it's detected for full data. You would think bad port connection but once it comes up for full data, I can wiggle the heck out of it and no change. Other iPads on this computer with this cable work 100%.

Hi there. I was changing the battery and I just turn the iPad on and it's k. But no touch and have image. I remove the display cable put the touch in place but I forget to turn iPad off. After all in place don't show image. Did I burn the display removing the cable with iPad turned on? It's urgent. Can you help? I love your videos man. Great inspiration

Is it possible to correct a faulty display? In this case I’m taking about a IPad Pro 10.5... I don’t want to replace it... I would love to be possible to stop the bad wiring/connection that provoques this. I know that “replacement” is the word, but did anyone tear apart a iPad screen for this purpose?

Hey I replace the lcd in my daughter iPad mini 2 and it comes on but as soon as it goes in sleep mode or I click the lock button it does what the iPad in this video was doing. Black screen but there’s a display light but no picture and I have to hard reset it for it to come back on to use it. Please help

yep that one cap is at a 45 degree angle. but as I see you are deLIGHTED TO BE relighted. I myself have a 3rd gen pro air. that has that intermittent issue and warranty ran out 2 months ago. ahh! I just need to know the part number for those diodes or chokes as you say. Digikey will have them.On mine it goes out after warming up so I'll check for a bad solder joint. Joke what do you do when your diode pops out of joint? Smoke it!

So you should get paid less because you know more than someone that would just change a mother board opposed to a skilled person who can figure out the real reason for the fix. I don’t think so We have the same problem in our industry. When you know what your doing it shouldn’t take all day.
